So where are you playing Trent. And you left out Saka.
Have any of those players ever done anything important for England?
Why would you pick four players that haven’t been important for England?
Oh, Tu got there first. Mans knows the England team, clearly.

Were they not important in helping us to qualify?
Trent and Palmer we-rent, but Bellingham and Foden were
Not really, they had their moments, but I wouldn’t put them in England’s top eight most important players. The back four, Pickford, Rice, Saka and Kane have all been better performers/more important to the team over the last few years - and that’s just the main guys in the team, players like Sterling, Rashford, Trippier and Phillips have all contributed more to the England team as well.
Bellingham’s starting to get there, but the other three have done fack all for anyone to be talking about them the way they do over the England team.
England will have the most talented overall squad at this Euros.
I expect Southgate will insist on playing Henderson/Phillips alongside Rice and that will faaack us.
I think if we lined up like the following then only France and Spain will be able to give us a game
Pickford
Walker Stones Maguire Shaw
Rice Bellingham Foden
Palmer Kane Saka
Defensively there are better sides, but from the midfield up that is the best line up in international football currently with only France being able to get close to it. Our depth is insane as well.

It will come though, hopefully this summer. Bellingham alongside Vinicius Jr is Real Madrids main galactico at age 20.
Foden won player of the year and stands out in an insane Man City side.
Palmer single handedly dragged Chelsea to only 3 points off Spurs.
Trent can’t defend but t he can slap one hell of a free kick
Hopefully it does, but I wouldn’t bank on it. This is England, after all. We’ve a long, long history of fantastic players failing to really perform for England like they can for their club, especially in tournaments.
Palmer single handedly dragged Chelsea to only 3 points off Spurs.

If foden can replicate his city form for England, then fair play. But I just don't see it as England don't create the spaces that city do.
Palmer, no idea how he fits into the England side.
Trent, come on, he's never performed for England. Southgate doesn't use his full backs like that, and I don't see Southgate giving him a midfield role until he sees it at club level.
I think people are overlooking Gordon too. He's not done anything yet either, but I think he'd fit in well on the left with Kane central and Saka on the right.

I trust Bellingham, you can’t play like he does for Real Madrid and not perform for England. He will be going into the summer with La Liga winners medal and most likely a Champions league winners medal. This after being captain of Dortmund at 19 - his ability is insane.
Foden is also one of the best players England have produced in decades and again has won leagues and a Champions league.

Gordon, Eze, Elliott - no one talks about Bowen who got 16 goals and 6 assists in a mediocre West Ham side. Watkins - 19 goals and 13 assists. Maddison, Rashford, Sterling Gallagher, Rice, CL finalist Sancho, Mount, Toney, Wilson, Solanke
Were dripping with talent that most of Europe would sell their granny for
England have a crap defence with no pace between the CBs so they will have to play 2 sitting midfielders. Having Rice with Foden and Bellingham in midfield will expose the back line.

That’s all well and good, but until they do that for England I remain skeptical. I could list a host of English players that had similar arguments made for why they’ll be able to do it on the international stage for England but didn’t. But I’ll leave you with just one, Wayne Rooney.
I’d start Gordon on the left. If we have to make a choice between Bellingham and Foden for the attacking midfield position then I’d put Foden on the bench.
Palmer Rice Bellingham Foden
Kane

As individuals it’s not even debateable - Prem player of the year, best striker around, Real Madrids main man (1of 2 anyway) Chelsea’s best player, 2 of Arsenals 3 best players.
I can see an argument for France and at a push Spain - there is zero outside of that.
We have arguably the worst manager though and I agree defensively we look very average
