Kristensen has no hope. I’m sorry but seen more than enough of him to see he’s got a similar level of technical ability to me!!!! He’s a million miles off the level of professional footballer.
^^^
Firpo was a steaming pile of sh 1 te in the Prem.
He started out life in the Championship a steaming
pile of sh 1 te. Then, he became one of our best
players. Not sure the club will be so quick to bin Raz.
He might offer something. Even if it's just cover.
Who knows how the club views him though. Guess
we'll see pretty soon what Farke thinks he already
has. And what he needs the club to bring in.
I'm struggling with players who jumped ship. What kind of mentality can we expect from them in those must win matches at the end of the season? If there is one factor that Southampton and Ipswich and Leicester had that we didn't, it was the winning mentality. Sorry, I think the likes of Arronson wouldn't know a winning mentality if it bit them on the ar$e. He will be out injured from January onwards. Get rid now.

Dennis kinda describes the gulf between premier league and championship. Rasmus might not be prem level but if Peltier can play in this league and 57, then so can Rasmus.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
or we had a crap coach.
To discount Roma and Serie A is incorrect, they finished way above Napoli who were in Real's group in the Champion's League.
I'm not saying he's the answer to all our problems but I think there's evidence of a defender there, what we don't have is evidence of was in his time at Elland Road he had anything like the proper coaching, say what you like about José Mourinho, he has a good track record.

Than it should be argued he has the same problem as the players he walked out on, because they didn't have that mentality either!..
I think the biggest problem for any returning player will be the fans!..

👏. So am I tbh and I accept it’s influencing how I feel about the returnees. Are loyalty and respect worth nothing now? I guess not for some, but for me they’re still important values and should be cherished. Btw - Gnonto - he and the club (Farke) should have issued a public apology to the fans at the time.
Anyway, perhaps I’m too old-fashioned in today’s society but that’s my six-pennys-worth and I’m sticking by it.
If he can knuckle down and prove his worth then the fickle nature of supporters will soon be swayed in his favour as the only criteria that matters is Leeds United being successful and if BA is part of that process in contributing game changing and match winning performances then I say let bygones be bygones forgive and forget until he misses a sitter then unfortunately the Elland Road wrath will be wakened and he must suffer the consequences but like James, Gnonto and Rutter goals will heal those fans wounds and all will be well in the world again. The proof of the pudding..... MOT
I didn't want Aaronson from day one. Why would anyone think he's better now after flopping in Germany. More worrying than last year we should be raiding other champ teams not welcoming past losers that were never good enough.

He could not cope with the physicality of the PL so how he will go on being bullied and kicked around in the Championship I dread to think.
———————————————————————-
I see this alot, and am wondering where people get this idea from. Is it just historical thinking 🤷🏻♂️
My opinion is, the players in the prem, are quicker, fitter, more physical than the champ, players have more time on the ball.Thought last season, it was very tame to be honest. Summerville got alot of freekicks, but thats to be expected for quick tricky wingers.
Am genuinely interested to see what others thoughts are on it, because I havent noticed players getting bullied and kicked.
Maybe ive been blind too it
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I remember quite a few games where opponents "got in our faces" with rough treatment dished out to Summerville, Gnonto and DJ along with clever tactical fouls to stop quick breaks shared out between defenders to take YCs and avoid reds. Cynical tactics I know but they worked against us in some games.
I hope BA has gained some experience and knows that throwing himself on the floor and pleading with the ref will not work in the EFL.
To me BA is a commodity that if he is considered by Farke to be a useful asset then we must use him and that's the word or phrase I think is relevant here, we use him to our advantage.
Players are not fans and don't have the same bond and love and loyalty as we do so I'm perfectly okay with him coming back and I think you are expecting too much especially in this day and age to expect Leeds United players to all have undying sacrificing love for the club.
Players are ruthless deep down, they're just doing what they do for the cold hard cash and the few exceptions to this are homegrown players that do love the club as they've grown up supporting them but even then if you wave a wad of cash large enough in front of them then even those club alliegances and bonds can be broken.
Therefore with all these loanees that decide through whatever reason to return, I'm of the opinion as long as you do it on the pitch then all well and good, I'm not going to be buzom buddies with any of them I just want whoever wears that shirt to give 100% and if BA does that I'm not bothered about his past indiscretions.
I don’t have this same vitriol for ‘the rats’ as most. The contracts were basically designed to push them out to save the club wages in the event of relegation. Yes pro footballers earn stacks so they ‘could afford it’. But it’s Easy to sit in your armchair and criticise someone in what is a short and ruthless career for not taking a 60% pay cut.
These guys aren’t Leeds born and bred. Ask yourself, if you were for example playing for Seville and were told ‘stay on less than half your salary or go to Berlin for a year on full wages’, what would you do?
I don’t know if BA has the game for the championship. That’s up to Farke to decide. If he comes back, I’ll give him a chance.
Its all well saying these deals were made so if we go down the club can push them out and save money, it was also said around here at the time they were pushing to go that these deals were put in place to tice them to the club!..
The crap that now is, some of these players are rooting for a way back, they're still contracted to Leeds so can Leeds push them out again without them agreeing to it?..
The same with Archie, he's made his feelings for the club known, so if a stupid offer came for him, could the club say yes please or can he hold them to contract?..

Dead right, Mont. These guys let the team down and didn’t have the decency to stay and put it right. Sometimes, that’s what it comes down to. If I was DJ or Firpo or Georginho, I wouldn’t want them on the same team as me.
We need players who are 100% committed to each other when they step over the white line. That’s what being a team is. Players like Aaronson, Harrison, Wober , Kristiansen and the rest are losers and they will bring the team down in the crucial moments when we need winners.
I can see reasons why the 49’ers would have them back, especially as it will reduce our losses in regard to FFP, but they should be nowhere near the first team.
We need players who are 100% committed to each other when they step over the white line. That’s what being a team is.

As muich as I agree with this mate... that's just not realistic in modern football... just doesn't happen
players think of wages, international career, domestic career...
and tbh, its a very very short career, I don't blame these players at all...
This Championship may be a tad too physical for young Aaronson. Some thug will kick him into row z ( Probably won't even need a run up ) and he will never be heard
of again. So lightweight ,would make a good kite.
I think BA, RK and MW could all do a decent job under a decent manager, not convinced Farke's that man. The minute they announce that Marsche is on his way back I might consider jumping ship.
Have mixed feelings about this, but ultimately have to point the finger at our previous hierarchy. (Allowing Paraag's 'passenger' explanation for now).
Bottom line is, whoever lines up in the 11 come August needs our full support, the past is exactly that, and we need PL Football come start of Season '25.
I am hearing that Aaronson is concerned about the reaction the crowd will give him on his return.
