I'd laugh if the announcement was that they're not reforming and that it's just an album reissue or something!
----------------------------------------------------------------------
there is an album reissue coming on Friday (Definitely Maybe) so it's not that.
Yesterday (August 24), The Sunday Times claimed that, according to “industry insiders,” Oasis would reunite in 2025 for a 10-night headlining run at London’s Wembley Stadium and additional concerts at Heaton Park in Manchester, the band’s hometown. As fans reacted to those rumors on X, Liam Gallagher began replying with statements like “News to me,” “I know nothing,” and “Your scared how do you think I feel.” One X user then called Manchester’s Heaton Park “a terrible venue,” and Gallagher responded, “See you down the front you big f@nny.”

Coke and divorce ain’t cheap, it was only a matter of time before these two had no choice but to bore us all again.
Them and kings of Leon should never allowed to annoy anybody’s ears ever again.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I very much doubt either of the Gallagher Brothers need the money.
I like them as a teen and saw them at knebworth… decent night but the support acts were way better live. Saw them in Lisbon on their final tour and they were terrible…. No way I’d pay £100+ now…. I have to switch over if they come on the radio… durge
Too many southern shandy boy Blur fans on this thread. Oasis are the best band this country has produced for decades.

One of the worst gigs I ever saw about 25 years ago. Filled with fat white blokes coked up wearing stone island p-ssing and sh-tting in plastic cups and throwing them in the air.
Have a soft spot for Definitely Maybe being a teenager at the time but they’re an incredibly dull band in general.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Very odd to specify their skin colour

They're not fit to clean the Arctic Monkey's winkle pickers... and yea, Blur also pi$ all over them.
They were a decent pub style band that were in the right place at the right time and Liam's a laugh... fair play to them.
There's enough people still swaggering around in parkas and 90s liam cuts to know they will sell out every date though.

Are they $hite, they were of a time 1994/5 to be precise, then just copied the same format for years to come, became boring very quickly
Should have done a pistols and left it at one album, not that anything they’ve done compares with Nevermind the bollllocks

Hated both bands at the time - the Roll With It/Country House battle was one of the most embarrassing things ever to happen to the UK music industry.
It is beyond debate that Blur have aged better though.
Standout band of the late 90’s.
The first 2 albums were brilliant, the 3rd was ok but I lost interest really after that as my musical tastes changed.
Saw them in Berlin in 1997 when they were at their peak, I’ll just preserve that memory as they won’t have got better with time
Buzzing....but also accepting that it may be a bit of a anti climax.

Doubt I'd go again, especially at the prices rumoured. Maine Road gig was a perfect closure for me.
Besides, as another poster has said: Would it really be "Oasis"? It's just going to be Noel and Liam.
I toyed with the idea of seeing the Roses at Heaton Park and will eternally regret not going.
Not even considering going to see Oasis but I’d look forward to watching the video

“Would it really be "Oasis"? It's just going to be Noel and Liam.”
Pretty sure 99% of people only know Noel and Liam, no one cares about the others.
Lyrics are all disjointed, shallow, and arrogant, much like the gallaghers. So many bands musically and introspectively better in the day.
Oasis are the best and most important UK band for the past 30 yrs, but a reunion is totally unnecessary since they only broke up 15 yrs ago after being together far too long as it was - money grab or what?
