Have you been released yet Sizzle ?

posted 3 weeks, 6 days ago

No, I’m doing life with no parole.

I thought this was a bit early haha.

The one thing i will say if we adopt our children in the playground tactic Arsenal do not like it. They do not like being pressed and attacked.

Too many clubs give Arsenal far too much respect if you play them they hate it.

Gabriel and Martinelli being two of the most overrated players in the league.

Just gotta hope Ange for the first time can inspire the team, show a bit of fire.

Not sure even arsenal fans rate martinelli anymore and he doesn’t start for them anyway

Sterling will probably score

Don’t Arsenal have a few key players out?

Think callifori is injured now but he hasn’t started for them anyway

They don’t have much depth in midfield but I’m sure Jorginho and Partey will play well vs us

Wish it was this weekend instead of the boring pointless nations league carp. Hard to call anything based on 3 games. You'd have to say Arsenal on paper, but I'm going home advantage here - it's a deby ffs anything can happen.

I have a mate who, on a bet, stripped naked and streaked down a fairly busy street in '91 when Spurs won the cup. I'm desperate for Spurs trophy drought to end, just to see if we can get hm to do it again.

Not much between these two teams.

Tight, nervy affair….

Spurs 0 Arsenal 4

Actually your completely wrong Arsenal are more than happy to sit in and wait for opportunities as proved in the last game you tried to get after us and you were 3-0 down at halftime. As for Gabriel he's a key part of the best defence in the league so wouldn't say he's overrated.

Arsenal's away record is pretty good. They're unbeaten in 10 games away, winning 9 of them. It's not going to be easy but you'd kind of like to think that with Rice out we'd have some sort of chance to get something out of the game. I guess a draw would be acceptable and a win would feel like getting back on track for the season. A loss however is very much going to increase the doom and gloom around this season so far. Fans will be restless.

I will go for a draw. What worries me is how many chances to score we're going to create against a very good defence.

Yeah they can sit and wait for our defence to open up or get a set piece goal

Could get a result if we take our chances but haven’t been great at doing that so far this season

posted 3 weeks, 6 days ago

You're due a result against them surely.

Gabriel overrated? Feels like he's underrated to me, even by Arsenal fans. Saliba gets more of the appreciation as he's very silky and cool on the ball as well as producing the odd eye catching defensive moment but I think Gabriel is a better defender.

Agreed.

Probably blind optimism but I think we win this one ….without rice their centre midfield is slow. Partey can be rattled , dwells on the ball

I’d take a draw right now though …we can’t afford to lose , too many doubts creeping in about Ange and the noise will pick up if we lose this one at home

posted 3 weeks, 6 days ago

Arsenal win, they can’t lose ground this early.

I said the first four games will tell us how our season will go.....
We should have beaten Leicester, but got a draw.
Did beat everton, as we should have.
Lost to Newcastle when we dominated the game and should have won.

And now the Arsenholes.......a game that will be won or lost in midfield. If we lose.....
that'll be 4 points out of 12. Bodes for a bad season.
So....we'd better win this game!
Place you bets!

It will be more of the same I suspect, Woolwich are strong defensively and good on the break, so I can see us having plenty of the ball and struggling to create. Woolwich will sit in, defend properly and wait for the gifts on the break, pretty much the standard blue print of how to beat Spurs these days. Hope I am wrong obviously.
