Can’t see Ugarte starting with it being 12:30 ko on a Saturday and him travelling back from South America, likely on the bench and get the last 20. Casemiro hasn’t been on international duty so I’d say he’s nailed on to start. Rest of your team is probably right.

I'm quite confident we can turn up and fail to get anything out of this game.

I’m more worried about Palace away next week, that’ll be tougher.

I genuinely don't worry about any game, except Pool home or away, because it's one I really want to win or avoid a loss.

The last year or so has taught me to be wary of every game. In an ideal world, this is a game where we could bring on Ugarte 20 mins from the end whilst we are cruising to a comfortable win. Sadly this isn't an ideal world and we don't cruise to comfortable wins.

I expect Cas and Mainoo in midfield, the rest of the team probably as stated by the OP. Of course Southampton will put up a fight in front of their own fans, but it's really a game which we should be able to control and dominate - it should be a confidence builder, but currently there are always doubts.

And the heat will be constantly on ETH for the next umpteen games, regardless of whoever we play.
