Porto tactics were horrendous all game. It seemed like Porto tactic all game was to let our players get the ball and shoot.

How did Arsenal manage 0 shots on target away to Porto? I never seen a side so bad defensively as that. Shame Garnacho couldn’t finish.😂

There is that as well but to me it doesn't seem that there's a solid base for them not to panic to begin with. When they are weak they need some tactics and leadership to believe in IMO.

I think that’s the bigger issue with regard to Ten Hag that people are ignoring, they just shout tactics because it’s the buzzword. Is ETH capable of getting this group of players to play in a confident manner, whatever the tactics? Doesn’t look like it. But there’s obviously an issue with the players as well that go beyond management.

I get that. That's what I mean I suppose with confused. They clearly can't play the way he wants (surely he doesn't want this!) so they look really poor at times. To me, the way they are, they need more solidity even if it's going to a more basic way of playing for a while.

Having said all the above tonight's issues started with Dalot not being firm enough in a challenge after our CBs failed to clear. That slight drop of intensity in a crucial moment isn't on Ten Hag.
