I'm sure someone will have stats but Clement must have a worse record than GVB, Caixinha and Beale

Heartbreaking news, as the Rangers Board are meeting to discuss Clement's future.

Are they? Can't see them sacking him as that will cost a hefty amount, particularly since his contract was extended. Think their only hope is he gets offered another job and walks away but also can't really see that happening.

Board member 1: we need to sack him and put out a statement

Board member 2: it will cost us £5M to sack him

Board member 1: our statement will say we are firmly behind him

Saw snippets of our game-was busy waiting on the arrival of the Dundee Utd players back at the hotel, but must have missed them.

Thought we looked a bit disjointed first half. Goal settled us and we didn’t look back. Kuhn’s numbers are frightening-looked a cracking finish. Good to see Idah getting a couple more as well.

Hearts did well for a period, but they look like a team in trouble. Good.

Talking of teams in trouble-what name we using for the rangers managers these days?! He seems to have lost the ‘Big Phil’ handle he had when he first came in. Has he reached the Belgian Beller stage yet?

Twatter buzzing with 'Clement's left by mutual consent'.
Can't see it, unless the dafties have given him at least £2M to go.

I'd have taken 0-1.

Indeedthree points tonight was all that mattered

I'd have preferred 10 though

WhatsApp messages suggesting the Belgian has left his role have been spreading like wildfire but it’s understood there is no change to his current position at the club.

Sorry Stevie.

Club Brugge are up for Wednesday night

7-0 at the weekend. Someone (presumably their main striker) scored 4.

I know hee haw about them ATM. They have 6 points in the league phase just now

Suffice to say we'll need to play well for 90+ mins.

It is going to be tough. Their two defeats were home to Dortmund and away to AC Milan. But one of their wins was at home to Villa while the other was away at Sturm Graz.

Definitely a tough team and far from a simple 3 points

Good weekend, closing the gap to our nearest rivals can't be sniffed at.

You extended it, you didn't close it. Even more to celebrate

Ross County beating Motherwell was a shock but it does take the mighty well further away from you.

I wonder if the rangers board will back clement till the end of the season.

Yeah their fans have turned against him but surely sacking a manager every november cant be good for their club.

They have to stick by one of their choices eventually

If they didnt sack him yesterday then are they going to back him till the summer?

I think if we win the cup final the fans will be 100% against him and not turning back

If we lose it then Clement has turned a corner, is the greatest manager since Mussolini and they are going to win the quadruple

He's still got a job on to get himself to the final. 5 games before that.

The two European ones bar absolute pummellings are free hits.

St Johnstone at the weekend could be the final straw for me and i'll know if I want him out when I see the line up before a ball is kicked.

He's on a final warning from me start Dessers when other options are available and i'll fire the signal to start the McInnes in campaign.

posted on 25/11/24

I truly hope you bring in McInnes. Decent manager but by appointing him it signals you are happy to create an element of stability for a few years but will not be overly competitive. Should be up with Aberdeen for the top 3 places but no intention of seriously challenging for the title

If you appoint McInnes this season I will predict 7 In A Row for Celtic
