Driveways you say...

do you think anyone will ever invent a car that comes with it's own portable bit of drive that you can just push out when required, like a sunroof ?

what you would do would be to have 2 layers strapped to the cars undercarriage.

you deploy the first layer where you want to park. then you reverse and then reposition the car adjacent to the first payload.

you then drop the second payload.

you then reposition the car onto the adjacent payloads/driveways.

how about if you keep 4 tarmac pads in your boot ?

people carry round an extra wheel, so why not an emergency portable driveway ?

i reckon i could get on dragons den with that no probs.

i take your point theo, but if everyone used roads and pavements, there would be no need for the driveway.

there's clearly a demand.

what im saying is, let's get rid of the costly traditional driveway, and use a portable driveway instead.

another advantage of the portable driveway is that it means gone are the days of arguing over whether everyone is parked in the correct parking space etc.

with the portable driveway, noone can park on your drive except you, because your drive is either in your boot/integrally fixed to the chasis of your car, or you are already parked on it.
