I feel like us as a team peaked then haven’t been able to reproduce his best form.

Missing Peak eriksen has also contributed to this.

I wish we had the dele that played in a 3 man midfield Who played quickly and who could score long range goals while also arriving into the box.

He’s game has become limited now and we only she the true potential every now and then.

I wonder if he would benefit from a move?

I do not think he is a Jose type player at all. His nonchalant style goes against every Jose stands for imo.

As a player I think he could become one of the best in the world. The way he twist himself and the ball out of situations is out of this world as are his vertical passes.

On a fitness level he’s clearly one that doesn’t like that side and thinks his on the ball talents are enough although he looked much better in a Lyon shirt doing the running work than he has for us.

I hope we continue to try and get him going for us because I think if he goes we’ll regret it.

Definitely agree with Ndombele.

I really like Dele, and feel this is kind of mad to say. However I am beginning to wonder more and more is he our Coutinho - I think he never really progressed too much as a midfielder since he joined from MK and just much more as a forward. As a result his style is really specific and hard to justify a system where we get the best out of him not at the expense of other players. I’m beginning to wonder more and more now if we should sell him for big money and use that to fund a DM+RB assuming we would have a buyer.

I agree unfortunately as I really want Us to progress into a 433 formation and now dele just can’t fit it that well which is mad as that’s exactly where he made his name at MK.

If someone came in for him with 60-80m we could then get Parades/Ndidi/Neves and a good right back. Then that would be good:
