I think the herd immunity predictions are definitely far too early. Won’t be until summer until it really comes into effect. Have to say Australia et al really got it spot on

Nah it'll be this year. With the Astra Zeneca vaccine most people will have had it by the end of summer. 2022 will be another pandemic. Or a war. Probably a recession and a couple of wars. Global warming and water shortages starting to cause mass migrations, making the pandemic impossible to control.

I feel the same Phenom - unfortunately I think the world as we know it as has changed and this new normal we keep having shoved down our throats is how it will be going forward.
It feels sheet as I was in a really good place prior to this year (the best I've ever felt since my late teens) and I now feel I've had to start over again.
For our own sanity I guess we just have to learn to adapt and find joy and enjoyment where we can.
Feel like pure sheet, I just want 2019 back.

Been a good year to become a dad tbf. Still been hard and sucky but at least my time has been occupied by my son.
Must have been lovely to have so much time experiencing your kids growing up and not feel like you've missed out on so much being stuck in an office five days per week
Yup. Won’t take a job that’s office for 5 days a week for a long time I reckon.
Spurs game being called off is a blessing

Grateful that the games been called off, in a sheet enough mood without putting myself through that tonight
Surely the days of going into the office 5 times a week are done? I found previously you'd only not be allowed to regularly work from home because there was a lack of trust. We've all proven now that we can do our jobs just as well if not better from home.
This has been one of the most difficult periods in my working career in terms of the work that needed to be done and it actually feels like it's been a breeze where I've not had the pressures of being in the office.

I was looking forward to the game today. Bit of Scotty P.

I quite like going into the office so it hasn’t really suited me too much from a professional point of view. Especially as I’ve been way more productive now but nobody sees it like they would have if I was in the office.
Think 3 days in the office is perfect for me. Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

Same here. I like the feeling of going to work, having to make yourself look professional etc. I was doing 3-4 days a week in the summer. It was tough to get back in the routine but once I did I was loving it.
I found Monday Tuesday Wednesday good. Chopping backwards and forwards was just annoying with planning stuff.
Yeh three days in a row would probably be better but nice to be around for Friday beers
Ah true yeah. Friday beers is a good shot shout.
No shot*. Hangover typing.
3 days in 2 days wfh is the dream. Only issue is the train tickets
I'd have Monday and tuesdays off and have Thursday and Friday beers lol

Yeah im always daft enough to look forward to out games even though I hate watching them.
Phones great mate. Only used 26% battery so far today, speedier all round and looks gr8. As old one was a Samsung piece of p1sss to do the smart switch thing between phones copies all apps, layout and personal data over. Trading old one in too, and got £120 off this phone outright.
