3hrs isn’t a nap ffs, it’s a full blown sleep

When my girl hit 6 months and stopped sleeping, I was doing 630am PT, then a full day of work on less than 3hrs sleep most nights

Oh

No I was on furlough for lockdown 1. Got a new job though, so before the old lot could call me back to work I handed in my notice instead

Nice little pay rise too, especially compared to the pay cut during furlough at the last place

Last day today. My son caught covid but everyone else has tested negative.

But quite as easy to catch it as they make out as he’s been around us all the time we’ve isolated but no one caught it if him

Not quite as easy *

Weird. It seems like a properly strange illness considering it seems to vary so much (both transmission and symptoms) from one person to the next.

Hope your son's OK now and didn't suffer badly with it

Yea I was to busy trying to be the funny kid in school then having kids early so had to jump into what I could to make decent money.

Warehouse work and then driving got me through. Luckily my last job offered me a decent management job without much experience in doing that sort of work.

When they shut down in august I managed to get a hell of a management job in November with a huge logistics company.

Doing good now yeah. Hard work when I was younger though that’s why pushed my kids to do better.

First night back at work tomorrow
