This has genuinely put me off football
The fact that these 12 bèļlènd clubs were willing to drop the PL, CL, Domestic cups so quickly has devalued all those competitions in my eyes
Now they'll be playing in them only going through the motions, whilst wishing they were elsewhere
----------------------------------------------------------------------
They're bells for sure, but they only wanted to skip out on the CL

Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy said the club regrets "the anxiety and upset caused" by the Super League proposal as the club confirmed its withdrawal.
“We regret the anxiety and upset caused by the ESL proposal," Levy said. "We felt it was important that our club participated in the development of a possible new structure that sought to better ensure financial fair play and financial sustainability whilst delivering significantly increased support for the wider football pyramid.
“We believe that we should never stand still and that the sport should constantly review competitions and governance to ensure the game we all love continues to evolve and excite fans around the world.
“We should like to thank all those supporters who presented their considered opinions.”

Pretty awful statement really. Comes across as properly petty and bitter. "We were trying to do the right thing, sorry you're all too thick to understand."
