It's at home. I hope everything isn't a reason to take a shot at the manager
I've noticed how stepping away from the football narrative is really refreshing. Not reading Twitter threads or listening to endless opinion podcasts. Just watch the games and move on. It's grate.
Just heard the news about Greaves. Sad

My dads a gooner and still has nothing but love for the guy, he grew up in the 50s and 60s watching him
I’ve dialled it back to a good amount, Twitter is a bit of an echo chamber for me now and don’t really ever go on the main boards now.
Also, swap the managers over and you’d have everyone waxing lyrical about Spurs with question marks over Chelsea. Not as a Nuno slight I just think he’s bang average and Tuchel is one of the best in the world.
Well you may have a chance here as we've picked our slowest possible set of wing backs, though im sure Tuchel is aware of that

I’m sure every manager would be aware of that. It’s a very basic human skill.
That wasnt really a comment on the skill of Tuchel just that he is the manager that picked the team but whatever edin
I was just being more of an unnecessary pedant about how easy it is to measure speed, but I’m pleased it managed to get a reaction
And yet Fifa does a terrible job
Huh I see what you all mean about NDombele
Does he just not do this sort of thing regularly enough then?
Half time observations:
1. That was maybe our best PL half under Nuno. Some great interplay.
2. Shots on target is such a dumb stat
3. T. Silva is basically the opposite player who went from AC to PSG - which is what makes his longevity even more impressive
4. The Alonso booing reason is well documented so I won’t go into it. However he must either have little remorse or not understand the reasons why. Otherwise the reaction must be crushing.

Sometimes has off games which is highlighted worse as he looks nonchalant naturally and takes risks. This is one of his better defensive performances from memory though
From what i understand he was forgiven by the girls family so i think for him its been put to bed personally
Not that i or many other Chelsea fans I know are happy with his continued presence over it
As someone who has no experience in the realm, I don’t know how you could ever put that to bed especially if 20,000 people are yelling at you regarding it
I guess the counter is footballers aren’t really normal and their sociopathic drive and desire to reach the top without pause is what makes them great but so detached
Quite a lot of caught drink drivers in football sadly
Look at Gazza for instance
Also there was an era when it was normalised to some extent
Shockingly less of a big deal in Australia still. I had a bit of argument over it with someone there
The ones who had alcohol issues ended up catching charges it seems
Best and Merson were high profile too
