I liked both of your comments Amanda.
Blarmy - Dier is our most intelligent player in real life I reckon. Uni educated I think, multi-lingual and even created his own app.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Wouldnt doubt it, not something I relate to intelligence
But its that thing of 'some players make it look easy', whenever i see him what he is doing looks like its taking maximum effort
There have been some stupid players that play football like they have superpowers compared to everyone else and its as natural as breathing
I actually feel a bit bad for Dier. He was mismanaged by Poch in that he was clearly a defender. Signed as a CB, played at RB then in midfield. I totally get Blarmy's point. He does seem like he has to work really hard at it, and he probably does. He's not had years of playing in that position.

No, he makes a lot of high profile mistakes and generally acts a clown. If you make them early in your career for a specific club then you will always be reminded of that no matter how well you play or turn it around. Kyle Walker still gets labelled mistake prone whenever he makes a mistake now.
I don’t mind him going and Royal coming in as Aurier was getting on a tad and never quite the right fit. Doherty makes Aurier look like Cafu though

tbf if it wasnt for his pace he Walker would be the worst footy player ever

Intelligent or not, it seems to be beyond his capabilities to unwrinkle his brow, which makes him look like a propermong

Charging into the stands to fight someone doesn't help either tbf
Yeah dier is smart and proper coys
Don't like his hard man persona though. He's been grate so far this season, defence has been made to look worse than it has been last two games.

Think Walker is actually a better footballer than people give credit for.

Ah I get you
Walker is quality and the biggest criticism people used to give him was ‘he uses his pace to make up for it’.
Well duh, but he isn’t he knows how quick he is and how he can position himself aggressively and make up for it.
Thiago Silva used to basically be the Walker of CB’s and look at him now - slow but absolute quality

I think it will fade out generally this season
It will but that line about not mentioning it to his affected colleagues is noteworthy
He'll be out of the team at some point. These purple patches last about 2 months usually
