It probably risks coming across as a bit patronising these days, but I was thinking that she looks like the kind of girl who needs to be shown how...no i can't write that. i just can't do it.

No. I just realised that I am coming to terms with my casual sexism. Sorry if you can't handle that.
The sad thing is that although what I was going to write was a bit of self parody (private joke), in actual fact a few years ago I would probably have felt like it was a quite normal and reasonable thing to say.
I hope that isn't the case, but I fear that it may be. Maybe I'm doing myself a disservice.
Anyway. Boarding shortly.
"that's it ?"
"THAT's how 'hot' I am ?"
(turns over and sulks, taking the duvet with her)
Does anyone know 5 basic words in Portuguese ?
I'd also like to know how to say "please turn that f****ing hip hop sh** off, thank you" if possible.
I thought of another quiz question btw.
It's arguably a bit ageist, but I think it's OK.
Q2.
What is the oldest age (hers) that you would
a) go out with (you can't do it for her money)
b) sleep with
Tina Turner ?
I can't post the link, but if you google "10 times tina turner showed the world that age is just a number", then it should help
good luck
Actually, that link's not much help anyway.
30 I would obviously. That's not all that old anyway.
Whatever year this is, I'm in.

Spring onions > garlic > shallots > onions
As an all around contributor to cuisine, I'd have thought that garlic would win hands down. My stomach can't palate it though these days personally. I'd describe a shallot as a poor man's onion, and a spring onion as a niche onion.
I always thought of shallots as posh onions. Granted on a lifetime achievement basis garlic would take it but I think spring onions are underrated.
