I got banned from that forum for saying that raducanu would be more famous than rashford. I'd already been perma banned for allegedly being a stone cold racist, due to clarifying a few factually matters at the peak of BLM when if you went online and refused to say that you hate all white people who have ever lived, you'd be labelled on the same level as vlad the impaler. The owner intervened to ban me himself, saying that he normally left such matters to his moderation team, but in this instance would make an exception.

I opened a new account about a year later and stayed under the radar. Stayed off all threads the least bit to do with racial issues etc and anything potentially controversial.

Then one day when I was bigging up Raducanu after Wimbledon saying that she was going to the UK's biggest sports star, someone laughed at me saying oh yeah like she's going to be bigger than Marcus Rashford. Cue me ridiculing Marcus Rashford's fan boys, and the man united fan base piling in asking who the fk I was. Next thing I know a message comes up saying I'm permabanned.

By the way, the pakoras were in the tray (like the chip pan), but not lowered into the oil.

I think the owner would have done it, but had his mind on other things.

Tbh, I think the business is failing. The website lists about 20 items, but they now only sell about 5, and the whole time I was in there, noone bought anything apart from a kebab.

From a sporting sense you could argue she’s already topped Rashford’s achievements - A Grand Slam is more coveted than an FA Cup/Europa League medal.

In terms of contribution as a whole, she has a long way to go before being anywhere near as well known and respected as Rashford due to his campaigning and support for those less privileged than ourselves.

Women’s tennis is a strange one - not one woman has really dominated since Serena, if you compare that to the dominance of the big 3 in the men’s game. Her achievement winning the us open from qualifying is remarkable but she needs to win a few slams to label her a great.

His old work place? No, he got made redundant during the height of the pandemic. He was a bin man for a period but hurt his back on the 2nd day and was on sick leave. He's an accccaaaantant at some new firm nah, don't know the name or his email.

Spoke to him briefly a cupla weeks back. He's ok.

Had salmon and avocado toast for brekkie. Having a roast tomorrow but will probs be chicken. Unsure what else.

Made Mediterranean veg, sosejs from the butchers and basmati rice last night
