He's apparently on 220k a week (very quick google) and usually free agents ask for more than that.

If he asks for any more he'll trigger Kane's "top earner" clause meaning both will get a pay bump (kane is on 250 I think?).

If I guess and say he asks for 250, then thats £13m a year. Plus signing on fee plus agent fee. Thats a pretty big outlay for a guy who, like 4za said, his team didn't want to renew his contract due to muscle issues.

That's a big assumption tho. Juve were offering €8m a year I think. If he wants to play in the CL and be a part of something I don't see that he'd suddenly demand a big raise. Of course there's a big signing on fee to deal with.

As I say, though - this is all redundant seeing how well Paratici and Conte will know him. I'll trust whatever they decide on this one.

Hate crackers and didn’t used to like Costa but I’ve warmed to him.

Hes OK sometimes I guess

Also think when you have two very positive people you need a Costa or Major to balance it out
