I hate Maddison too but Ange will start him. Bergvall should take his spot but hasn't earned it yet

Wow I just not seeing it with him. I had him down as one of our worst players.

Being serious for a minute, I didn't think he was that good today either. I would agree with Chris that Leicester is going to be a different game but between Bergvall and Kulusevski we shouldn't be putting up with nothing performances we saw so often last season

Also, no Phillips today. I guess that means another loan and Davies as 4th choice CB

Bentancur played very well at 6 which is promising

If Bissouma/Maddison are out of form at any point we should be able to drop them this season

Ange Postecoglou on whether Dejan Kuluveski will play centre forward still following Solanke’s arrival:

“No, I don’t think so. I think the reason for us why we signed Dom, and hopefully Richy should be ready as well, is that we want to have a player through that area who is a bit more accustomed to that role. Deki has done a great job for us but I think his strengths and attributes are more in that attacking midfield or wide role. I think he is really developing and has had a really good pre-season for us and hopefully it gives us some more flexibility and potency through the middle when he is playing because he can get into those scoring areas.”

Ange has tried Deki in the 8 and out wide, he looks best in the 9. I'm confused because he even admits he is developing. In the 2nd half he played on the left and at one point it was a re run of last season. Those two roles don't suit him.
