Yeah I'm not being picky about how we got there just sayin

Like I said the other day Arsenal in 14 beat Everton, Wigan and then Hull to win the FA Cup. It doesn't change a single thing.

Similarly we faced a period under Poch where every semi-final we played in the FA Cup we played the ONLY team that was higher than us in the league.

Europa win would be incredible, but unless it is a worldie of a game I would be surprised if for me it surpasses the feeling I had in other games.

I mean we beat a couple of other teams Edin pal

I am very aware you did, it is just a loose point to highlight that a cup run is in itself down to luck - and the outcome doesn't change the merit of the trophy

I'd be curious to see where TBAG would put the 06 CL run or even this recent Madrid game against FA Cup wins.

I didn't support Arsenal back in 06 and while the Madrid games gave me a sense of sheer disbelief and pride that I'd never really had before, it's hard to compare it to FA Cup wins cos it was watching at home while I'm working vs in London with all my mates.

Didn't really support anyone, I had a soft spot for that Keegan Newcastle side growing up but that was about it. I was basically playing football whenever there would have been stuff on the TV so I didn't bother supporting anyone. That only changed when I broke my ankle and ended up going to a lot of Arsenal games with mates cos I couldn't play, which would have been about 2008.
