in europe you have to still pay for the al a carte stuff at a lot of resorts, and theres rarely that many restaurants, where we went in Mexico there were 10 and could have better and more variety of food for no extra cost

I was looking for all exclusions around the Barcelona area this summer and it was slim pickings

dad can hardly eat anything, and can't stand up or he gets major dizzy attack.
mum can hardly walk and's damaged her artificial hip.
neither can drive. he can't get downstairs, she can't leave the house on her own.

Hip xray all clear.

Booked a weekend to krakow to go to the Christmas market at the start of December

Loved krakow when I went, great little city. I’m off to cancun in a few weeks.

Cancun is great, though if you go a bit further down the coast it's a bit less American/noisy

We go to Playa del Carmen every other year (though had a gap due to COVID), mother in law has a timeshare

I'm actually not that big a fan Mandy, think its fine but expensive for what it is.

Playa de Carman is nice but mostly the same as Cancun.

We did Tulum a few years back and while its a cool place - I was amazed at how expensive it was. Tourist Mexico is now almost as expensive to go to as Miami is.

Tbf we do all inclusive at a 5* resort, and we've been like 7 or 8 times now so we've done all the main tourist spots before. No need to go anywhere near the actual city any more.

Some of the attractions like Xel Ha are great, and we swam with turtles at Akumal this summer which was my lad's dream come true

If it weren't for the time share we obviously wouldn't have gone back so many times, but it's the hotel that makes it really

The activities in Quintana Roo are awesome.

We were last there like 2 years ago, and its funny how each Cenote is now like $20+ per person - or quadbiking experience $50+ now etc etc. They (rightly) figured out how to fleece Americans.

I prefer Guadalajara if we are talking Mexico but its not on the beach - close to Puerta Vallarta though

Heard good things about Merida

I was considering Mexico again, it has a lot of upside because I can get to California more easily which is good for work reasons

Only issue is, i've sorta met someone in Buenas Aires and want to see where it goes

going to Northumberland Friday, never been, looking forward to it

I’m off to Mexico in November …..never been before

Cancun / riveria or something like that ( I need to pay more attention to the boss) …just know I paid what I owe , it’s 5 star and fully inclusive …..that’s all the info I need
