Pretty clear the first half to our season means we will be in the scrap til the final weeks now. Thankfully the 40 point safety mark hasn't beena. thing for over a decade and 36pts is more often than not good enough.
I think we are more than capable of something like a 5-5-9 record over the second half of the season. Honestly would not be surprised if 33 points is enough to be honest.

We did miss a few players, but that's no excuse and our performance in the second half was very poor.
Ait-Nouri is not a defender and certainly could never be described, as one certain poster put, a makeshift CB.
Just because we play 3 at the back doesn't mean they're all CB's. Last night we had one CB and two other defenders. When we play four at the back we have two centre backs, a left back and a right back.

"Of course missing key players is a valid excuse. I’ve seen Man City recently and they have clearly missed Rodri and de Bruyne..."
---------------------------------------------------------------------
We were far the better side in the first half, even without "key players". Had Larsen converted his two chances from literally a few yards out, and Rodrigo's pile driver gone in, we'd have been in front at half time and it could have been a completely different game.
I don’t see the Forest set up as a replica of what Nuno brought to Wolves. In simple terms they play 4231 not the 5 man back line we regularly sent out. Their midfield is more forward looking than ours was at times. And while at Wolves the approach was often to stay in the game for the first 45 or 60 minutes then try to nick a winner. At Forest they are regularly scoring first. In fact they’ve done that in 16 of their games this season.
If we look back on our team with the likes of Neves, Moutinho, Jimenez and Jota I think there’s a fair argument to say we had better players than Forest currently have. But by developing a set up that suits the players he has, at the moment they are doing even better.

Hi This Gormless Phanny
I didn’t expect you to be following me round the site like a little lost puppy!
One minute you’re claiming I’m not a Wolves fan, next you’re trolling me on the live match thread
You’re not very good at this are you? Hehehe
Lopetegui set to be sacked now after poor results and falling out with people at the club. Can’t see him getting another Premier League role.
Graham Potter to take over there
Lopetegui falling out with people? Surely not.
With the likelihood of Lopetegui being sacked, I guess that puts on hold any possibility of us unloading Hwang.
At one stage we were linked with taking Rob Edwards as replacement for GON. He has now taken Luton to 20th on the championship and is being shown the door
Listening to radio 5 and Balague whinging about his mucker being treated badly by West Ham. Ho hum.
Evidently Leicester are looking down the barrel of a points deduction. Could mean that they and Southampton are doomed, meaning we only need to finish above one other team.
Agbadou signing now confirmed. 4.5 year contract
let’s hope he can adapt to the Prem quickly
Hope he gets an introduction at Bristol
Do you think he wears black laces?
FA Cup fixtures are all over the shop. Sheffield United game looked like it was closed doors
Some of the strange kick off times are due to tv including our game. Although it’s not televised in the uk it is being covered by some international tv deals. The Everton game last night was only shown in Ireland, Portugal and Israel. Contracts for each game are agreed with individual tv companies around the world. Doubtless with no regard for English football fans
Wolves is on here at bloody 5am
