Yes they’re looking pretty good at the moment.
I have to admit if we do get knocked out I won't be too disappointed ad we won it last few years.
I agree, it would.be great if one of those 2 can win it. Makes a change. My preference is actually spurs out of both as I really want to see Ange rewarded for his all out attacking principles.
Newcastle I’d like to see win a cup
Tottenham winning would stop all that trophy dodging BS but i think i would prefer Newcastle.
Either way either would be a better option than Arsenal.

Newcastle are bang on form. That was a good point away to them imo in the league.
Long way to go in both ties although Newcastle will be slight favs overall, the Liverpool Spurs tie is in the balance but if it was a Newcastle Spurs final I'd want Spurs as I watch more of them and like Ange
Twists and turns in both second legs I feel, should be good and it is a pain its a month away
Liverpool should still be favourites, imo. A goal down, with 90 minutes to go at home, and against a bottom-half side that's 22 points behind them after 19 games...
What are the bookies saying?

Liverpool - Spurs is in balance as reversin 1 goal deficit is not beyond most clubs, and specially a club that scores so many goals, however Arsenal are effectively out.
Liverpool v Spurs VS Newcastle
Newcastle are favourites, followed by Liverpool.
1-0 won’t be enough for us, we’ll get beat comfortably at Anfield - night game under the lights with us playing all out attack. I fancy 3-1/4-1 Liverpool on the night.
Arsenal are nearly always shiete in this comp, 2 league cups compared to 14 FA cups, with a few embarrassing losses in the final thrown in - Swindon, Luton, Birmingham - yet they are not bottlers.
I suspect Liverpool will narrowly beat Newcastle in the final
We will beat Spurs at Anfield but it could go to pens too as because it is a Thurs game and we will have one eye on the PL game.
If Ange delivers trophy in his 2nd season like he said he would then he needs a statue.

We're the favourites I believe.
The atmosphere in Newcastle would be unreal if they did win it whereas it would probably just be a feeling of relief more than anything for Spurs fans if they win it.

Probably, even though beggars can't be choosers - this isn't the trophy to 'break the curse' so to speak.
Spurs would beat Newcastle in a final. Spurs at full strength are just a better side.
I think Spurs bane is on the cup.

I think Liverpool will turn it around in the second leg, but I didn’t expect a win yesterday, so you never know.
OP.. . me! I can begrudge them both, if it means Liverpool progress, esp at spurs expense! The dribble some of those spurs fans come out with....shove it back down their throats!!
