That was mad tonight.

Var helps with offside, little doubt now.

Foul i assume was correct havent seen it back

Poor penalty from engels otherwise a good game.

Idah is schite.

Hatates pass was world class.

Callum mcgregor though, there he is, thats the player i want.

Wonder if we might see some signings now that we've guaranteed the playoff spot?

Thought that atmosphere tonight was lacking - anyone agree who was there?

It looked good at the start but it always dips as the alcohol starts to wear off

I was there, and disagree. There was a lull for about 5-10 mins in the second half, and it picked up again.

Would love Celtic v City. They'd shiiite themselves at Celtic Park
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Both of us would need to win for a chance of that
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I think if we drew we’d likely be 9-16 and if they win they’ll likely be 17-24

Good atmosphere, fans a bit too edgy sometimes.

They were rotten btw, allowed to time waste by the ref.

That double save btw

posted on 22/1/25

If Tierney is available I’d consider him and Greg Taylor as a double up on the left. Tierney can slide some nice crosses in while helping track back. Our MF 3 vs. theirs is going to struggle big time

Thought we were fairly quiet in the second half as the nerves kicked in and time marched on. Last 10-15 was picked up massively.

We need to be allowed a bar for Champions League nights, imagine the bedlam

Made hard work of that. Thought we were really good in the first half. Can’t argue about the offsides as the VAR is automated, but didn’t think at the game McGregor fouled the YB player. Poor penalty from Engels.

YB were better in the 2nd half, and thought Schmeichel pulled out a couple of outstanding saves. The goal we did score was the worst of all the goals we scored that were disallowed, but you make your own luck.

Schmeichel, CCV, Trusty, McGregor, Hatate and Maeda were the standouts for me tonight. Didn’t see what happened with Maeda, but that could be a 3 match ban meaning he’s out of the playoffs as well.

Taylor is a real weak link and weak player. Engels and Kuhn tired quite badly I thought. AJ was fine, but still looks like he’s carrying an injury.

Ref was dreadful. YB aren’t a great team.

Well done to Rodgers and the players. No matter the draw we had, we still had to get the results to get through. Good to see us making at least a bit of a mark in Europe.

Barry, City turning a corner somewhat. We'd get our arsе handed to us.

7 games one loss.

Beat red bull

Drew with last years europa league winners away from home.

Its not always been pretty, we were unlucky vs brugge.

Only need to look at the barca game last night to see how clumsy some goals can be.

We've done well.

Maybe being a bit unfair here on YB, but they played like a typical SPFL side.

Long balls uo the park, petty and consistent fouling and time wasting.

And look how we often struggle against them.

They were schite. Spent most of the night time wasting.

Their fans were good, team was phish.

No way Maeda gets a 3 match ban - it was marginal red and no mitigation - the boy threw himself down but technically in Europe that's given red. No issue. Maeda didn't react and took it in good grace - all these things will stand him in good stead.

Might not get a game behind Jota right enough

Taylor has always been a weak link. Only he doesn't realise it if he's asking for 25k conflating consistent starter with consistent performer. TBF he was alright tonight - good even.

Think Brendan tried Ange 'blow them away' tactics tonight? Final 3rd let us down somewhat.

Well they looked like they had turned a corner tonight for a while, but 4-2nately that appears not to be the case. Could easily take them

It was mental - made junior watch the highlights today. Crazy rain. In saying that the worst rain I ever experienced was in Lisbon. Mental given the time I've spent in the Far East. Drenched between plane and arrivals and the suitcase needed everything dried.

If it’s violent conduct, I’m sure it’s 3 games. Said on the screens at the game it was excessive force he used.

I’ve defended taylor, but didn’t think he played well tonight. Some poor passing and clearances, and then he was falling when any of the YB players went near him, leaving us a man short as he was lying on the deck.

He’d be a decent back up option, but that’s it.

Think the team could get a lift from KT / Jota / Kvistgaarden or whatever the fck he is buit unlikely to be enough? Signing these guys would mean departures for Kuhn / Kyogo in all likelihood? I'm fine with that - no point having a business model and not sticking with it.

Huge effort tonight and I fear for our legs against your mob on Saturday.

I think taylor is a weak point, particularly with high balls, his headers are awful, just terrible

That said, i dont know how many good left backs we have had in my lifetime, very few.

Could we replace him with someone better who can play more than 20 games a season?

Realistically we aint signing KT without letting Valle go then GT in the summer so back to square one looking for another LB now Bernabei is gone.

Tosh McKinley - could whip a cross TBF.

Kt is a risk.

He's a great player but we are getting him for a reason.
