Ipswich will see Saturday as their last chance to save their season. It would bring the gap down to six if they win and they will now go into the game highly motivated. A draw is good enough for us in that one

I think the win yesterday ended it. Ipswich need to get to 30 points now due to goal difference and I don't think they will manage that even if they beat us next up. That's assuming we lose every game as well which I highly doubt we will.

Well we all remember 2002. Similar scenario with more onerous consequences.

We're not in the beach yet and hopefully that's because we're looking to pick off some of those sides currently on 34.

Difference then was the team chasing was capable of winning games. Ipswich have managed it 4 times all season and now people seem to think they can double that total in 8 games.

Wolves signed Forbs with an obligation to buy if he played 10 games for us. Even if he played every game now he wouldn’t reach that trigger. Can’t say I was very impressed with what little we saw of him. Plenty of pace but not really the ability to make things happen

Sasa is expected to return to full training this month and he is keen to stay with the club next season. I guess like Fabio he’s on the kind of salary he wouldn’t get anywhere else so will want to see his contract out. And his family is settled in the city with his wife running a restaurant there

* correction

It’s not a restaurant it’s a cafe in Tettenhall

He's played in 9 league games, so would only need to play in one to reach that trigger.

Interesting to know what his contract actually states. If it's 10 appearances, then we have the obligation to buy, as he's made 9 league appearances and 1 in the EFL Cup. If it's actual starts, then DJ is correct, as he's only started once.

It's 10 league appearances. Safe to assume we won't be seeing him again then.

He just Adama without the muscles

More than likely appearances, otherwise you could easily get round the obligation by subbing him on after one minute.

Seems to many different views on the terms of Forbs contract. If the trigger is ten starts then that trigger cannot be met now. If it’s ten appearances then I don’t see why the carabao cup game doesn’t count. And if it’s ten premier league appearances I find it bizarre that he’s regularly on our bench given that if he came on for a few minutes it would cost us over £11m

Neto really isn’t popular with the Chelsea fans?
