i see no merit in bringing in someone until the end of the season. It doesn't change a thing. If you are a team desperate to avoid relegation then a new man can bring energy and usually some improved defensive displays achieved through simply parking the bus and holding shape, dont get beaten
That's not what we want as it would not get us through European games which we need to win. Playing more progressively takes a ton of work on the training pitch.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I take your point about different attacking patterns and shape - I just think the morale and momentum has gone. Like you said previously, Ange cannot even get Ange ball going at the moment.
A new man (temporary) can go back to what the players were doing at the start of the season, get the enthusiasm and energy back and that will naturally transfer to the crowd - our unpredictability might catch Frankfurt and Lazio out.
By sticking with Ange I just feel we’re sleep walking into a disaster where the players will put up little fight
Isn’t there a contract obligation that means the payout to sack him is far larger if Spurs are still in any cups?
Thought I read that anyway

How do you know it doesn't change a thing? It could give the team a lift. We know that new managers can have that effect, we've seen it dozens of times before.
I'd persuade Redknapp to join or if not just let Mason take over. At worse we'll get the same results, but we'll be free of Ange, have less chance of major injury and won't see a manager take the pisss out of our own fans. At best, who knows, they could have a revival in form and win the Europa and then it will look like the best decision ever. If we sacked Ange now and still didn't win the Europa though, nobody should be thinking we missed out on the trophy because we got rid, such is his hopelessness.

80 year old Redknapp or Mason. Honestly this is the most laughable comment I have seen for weeks.
Everything this board does is financial. Of course the pay out would be more if they sacked him now. Why else would he still be here?
Remember they sacked mourinho to stop him getting a potential cup win bonus when they sacked him

Sadly true, so in reality I don't expect him to be sacked until we go out of the Europa. It makes it really difficult to want us to keep progressing in the competition I'll be honest. If we went out to Frankfurt I wouldn't be very gutted.

There look like better options around than when we last were looking so I'm hoping it will be a swifter and more convincing resolution than picking the 10th choice manager this time. No incoming manager would have to worry about a Kane situation either which might help.

Honestly words are meaningless to hand Shandy. Predicting 3-1 yesterday and then on his sharticle today reckons that being 3rd in the Bundesliga is not a big deal as it’s a “poor” league and that we will comfortably navigate Frankfurt.
The thing is if Levy stepped down I reckon we would get a flood of managerial CV’s

Sandy is a bad omen to Spurs. I don't recall him ever predicting a correct outcome concerning us. I trust he will predict us to easily beat Frankfurt and that will finally be the nail in the coffin of this Ange reign. We must also throw everything to get Iraola as Sandy doesn't see him as anything special.

That's misleading. He, like most other candidates were employed but he was appointed in early June.
Plus Conte got himself sacked and before he imploded I don't think we were geared up to replace him. We were 4/5th position so why would we.

Iraola, although I don't want to see them capitulate until the end of the season. The appointment isn't going to seem as good if they do that. Not that he isn't still my number 1 choice.
Poch however after going out of the Europa and ditching Ange would have been perfect for the sake of Sandy.
Poch won't be happening though. I wonder if there is an outside chance of Alonso? I'm guessing he might be Real Madrid bound and obviously Leverkusen are in a way better situation than us but perhaps if we managed to win the Europa and still ditched Ange?

Sadly true, so in reality I don't expect him to be sacked until we go out of the Europa. It makes it really difficult to want us to keep progressing in the competition I'll be honest. If we went out to Frankfurt I wouldn't be very gutted.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Look forward to a long long long managerial search.
Took them 75 days to hire this cowboy
----------------------------------------------------------------------
There look like better options around than when we last were looking so I'm hoping it will be a swifter and more convincing resolution than picking the 10th choice manager this time. No incoming manager would have to worry about a Kane situation either which might help.

i see no merit in bringing in someone until the end of the season.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
How do you know it doesn't change a thing?

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Everyone of your comments are laughable mate. Starting with your 1-3 prediction for yesterday.
80 year old Redknapp is comfortably better than Ange. He could have Skype managed the team from the I'm a Celeb jungle and still produced better results than Ange.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Honestly words are meaningless to hand Shandy.

Sandy will do the flip flop once we’re out of Europe

Everything this board does is financial. Of course the pay out would be more if they sacked him now. Why else would he still be here?
Remember they sacked mourinho to stop him getting a potential cup win bonus when they sacked him
