Business man he is not Goldie. He's filed for bankruptcy 6 times. It's the dumb rednecks that have put this convicted felon in the White House and it's those who are going to suffer the most.
As the saying goes...Only in America.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I remember the days when you and Cinci were calling him a breath of fresh air.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I'd be grateful if you could find quotes or anything else like that. He was a disaster in his first term and is worse in his second.

It was prior to his first term. When he was first looking to receive the republican nomination. I'm not going to be able to find quotes from something 10 or more years ago. It was probably on 12yards.
I definitely remember you both saying it though, as I thought you were both mental for it. Feel free to deny it if you wish. I know I'm correct on this one.

I remember. I felt his appearance on the political stage would shake things up a bit in a good way(which is needed in US politics) before he disappeared into the darkness but fack me, here he is ten years later ffs. Couldn't have been more wrong.

Have to grudgingly say that arsenal were brilliant tonight. Two of the best free kicks I've ever seen from Rice and Merino's finish wasn't bad either.
Fantastic goals, my son will be pleased, looking forward to Spurs on Sunday not been to a home game for a while should be a less stressful atmosphere than usual

Yeah, I mean no one could really have known what it would turn out like at that point. I just remember looking at it from the outside and thinking it was nuts.
What makes this term worse is that Trump has built a team of like minded and similarly divisive characters
He has, but he will inevitably fall out with all of them. Musk is on his way out and when Trump realises Vance is only there to take advantage of Trump's catastrophes Vance will be sidelined. He can't be sacked however.
Musk is already falling out publicly with Peter Navarro, who is the senior counsellor for trade and manufacturing and mostly responsible for these tariffs.
It's crazy how the MAGA lot double down on everything. In the election they were all complaining about inflation and the economy whilst blaming Biden. Now Trump is trashing the economy and prices are going to rise through inflation and yet that's a good thing. It's basically a cult at this point.
It is absolutely a cult. The blueprint has been set for decades to come now as well.

Yeah, that probably came over a bit narky, wasn't meant to in all honesty.
Re Trump, classic example of ignorance and arrogance in harmony. Incredible how the Internet and social media has allowed people to spread and consume untruths and over simplification.
And if the world wasn't in a big enough mess, Villa are a goal up in Paris.

Spurs playing the Europa League quarter finals tonight at home to Eintracht Frankfurt. That competition is clearly their priority after a disappointing league season and they rested players last weekend to prepare for tonight. If that tie still hangs in the balance after tonight then we can expect them to rest players for the game at Molineux on Sunday in advance of the second leg next week.

Not really too bothered about where players end up when they leave. Can't recall when we've ever sold a player to Man U, (cue some smart ar5e citing half a dozen examples), only thing there is that he would definitely make them stronger (which no one wants to see) if they were prepared to build the attack around him.
