Could also be true. Didn’t they sack Cooper when they were outside of the bottom 3?

Can you give us the basis for RVN deserving a PL job? And why he should have refused it?

They were 15th. 10 points from 11 games. So they've picked up 7 points In 20 games since.

And I recall nearly every Leicester fan on here wanted Cooper gone

Leicester fans are an odd bunch. They wanted Rogers gone and he had them pushing for CL for much of his reign.

This is the reason RVN was given a PL job:

He was originally tasked to work alongside Erik ten Hag, however following the sacking of the latter on 28 October, he was appointed as interim head coach.[142] Two days later in his first game, he led Manchester United to a 5–2 win over Leicester City in the EFL Cup.

An actual PL management job from one match.

And he shouldn't have taken it???

Literally one match in the Carling cup, against one of the worst PL teams ever, at home, whilst essentially being part of a take your child to work day where he is given manager experience for knowing people, and he is given an actual PL job on that back of it.

And you say he SHOULDN'T HAVE TAKEN IT?

You could argue that taking the wrong job could harm your reputation in the future if it doesn't work out. Against that is not knowing when the next decent opportunity will come along, especially if you are unproven.
Most managers will be unsuccessful in their jobs, it's the nature of football. And it's difficult to show patience and not take a job when you might not be ready

In a match that we let Leicester score twice in as well! Pretty much more goals in one match than they have scored since he took over.

Yet, RVN shouldn't have taken the job because Leicester are beneath him???

He has made them far worse and it's everyone else's fault apart from his??

We wanted him gone while he was in the process of relegating us the first time. If he’d have been binned off far earlier, we wouldn’t have gone down. We’ve never recovered from that

Ultimately the owners are a complete mess - doesn’t really matter who manages us. That said - RVN is one of the worst managers to grace the PL

He's just fulfilling the great players don't often make great managers stereotype...........

They shouldn’t have appointed him either. Both parties made a bad decision.

An insane decision to give him the job. Absolutely no justification for such a promotion.

Last 16 games. LLLLLLLWLLLLLLLL. That win at Spurs and the last time they scored a goal, 2 goals in fact, of the 4 goals they've managed in 16 games

They've got what they deserved. Bonkers decision-making by their owners.

Incredible he's lasted so long.

Thought they would have got shot long ago to give themselves a chance.

Yeah you'd have thought he'd have walked away after a few games after realising that the club are not up to his standards of winning a couple of games as Man U intern manager.

He really risked his reputation of 2 week supply teacher manager at Man U by giving pathetic little Leicester a chance to experience his managerial greatness.

Probably can’t afford the pay offs, they’re in a mess financially.

Called it as soon as he was announced. This was always going to end in tears. Career destroyed before it even started. Never should have taken the job. Never should have been offered it.
