I have seen Bodo/Glimt play in their stadium (think it was valerenga they battered them) i really like their football.
Ange has lost to them twice. Their manager Knutsen is far better in my opinion. He has been linked with Bournemouth most recently. Obviously our squad is far superior.
What is key they play on a plastic pitch we were god awful against Tamworth trying to "play" we need to of learnt.
No mugs they have beaten Lazio, Olympiacos, Porto, etc.
Their leader and captain Berg is a huge loss for them he is their heartbeat and we have to make that count in the first leg.
the are they most northerly top flight club in Europe i think

Bunch of Reindeer Farmers who play in the Artic circle on a snow covered synthetic pitch. Seriously it's a lose/lose situation.
I'm being flippant but I can visualise the headlines and the excuses if Spurs lose the tie and don't turn up on the night at their place.
Can't believe you've never heard of them. They've been playing European football for several years and are clearly learning as they go along. Their synthetic pitch gives them an advantage in my opinion. Lazio lost up there 2-0.
Don't ask me the temperature when you're up there

Think you'll need a 2 goal lead to take to Norway. Ange has been up there before with us (Celtic) so has experience of their pitch. They beat us twice in the Conference league.
Worst thing you could do is take them lightly. It's a lose/lose tie for Spurs.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Without being unkind. I think Spurs are a bit better than Celtic. I would be very surprised if Spurs failed to beat Bodo over two legs. I can see something like a 4-0 home win, and a 2-0 away win. Lazio probably disrespected them in the 1st leg, then had the game, and then blew it. I don`t think Spurs will let that happen.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You're not being unkind. Just usual English arrogance based on money alone. How did Spurs get on against Scotland's distant 2nd force?
The ability gap is not as big as the money one and you will be making a mistake. Knutsen's team are high energy, rapid and incredibly well drilled in how they go about it. Like a decent Ange team in fact. Make no mistake you will need to be right on it.

We need to be as prepared as we were last night. None of this ‘glad it’s not Lazio’ nonsense. They deserve to be there as much as we do and need to treat them with respect. Get the job done. We can’t just turn up. We have to turn up with intent.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Well as someone said Ange has lost twice to them already so hopefully he will get it in the players heads that they are in for a fight.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Spurs won't disrespect them. But an average Lazio went 3-0 up against them, and should have beaten them.

Echo these sentiments. No way are Spurs horsing Bodo 5 or 6 without reply. I'll go out on a limb here and say there won't be more than a 2 goal margin in the tie after the 2 legs. Their synthetic pitch may turn out to be a major factor in the tie.

Besides a few will take them lightly.
Ange has lost twice to them already and will surely let the team know that this game will be a proper semi final.
Boda has reached the semi final , earned it and deserve respect. We might need a 2 to 3 goal lead in the first leg to get through.
Don't underestimate them we played them a few years ago, managed to get a tough one nil win on a very dodgy pitch. If you dont go there with a sizeable lead you could be in trouble.
Yep.... coming through loud and clear. Key to the whole tie for Spurs is the home leg. Unless you take a sizeable (minimum 2 goal ) lead to Norway, life will be extremely difficult. There's even a nice friendly Gooner repeating the warning

But even this Spurs side don`t concede four goals against 10 men, like the current United side.
I doubt United`s luck will hold out for them to make the final, but if they do, Spurs have their number this season. Having beaten them already three times, with nowhere near a full strength side on show.
Only Sandy is taking them lightly.
What gives me some hope in this tie is that we suffered at Tamworth on their artificial pitch in the FA cup 3rd round, so I don’t think the players will take the change in surface lightly - they massively struggled that day and hopefully will be more prepared for it this time
sandy close to a final soon. We will see.
