@red joking apart, I agree though, we should give mainoo a chance at 10 and play the likes of chido from the start. Im not convinced mainoo has the attributes for a quality number 10, but now is a perfect chance to prove me wrong. All for that idea.

Our Europa results are chalk and cheese compared to EPL ones, so who knows what will happen tomorrow.

I think we should be using these games to both get games into those who have been missing for a while, as well as giving some game time to some youngsters. But ultimately of course we want to win the game.

If we do reach the final, I don't buy this it doesn't matter if we lose our league games - every game has got to be important to us, just to set the right mindset.

Difficult to be overly bothered about any of the remaining league games tbh.

Yeah fair, I’m being slightly facetious.

I can see his style of play, and yes sometimes it looks like it works. I just don’t believe it’s the answer to the question long term.

Its undeniable Amorims reign has been the worst of any post fergie manager (so far). I recognise there are mitigating circumstances to that too.

But still. It’s been a shiiitshow so far.

Amorim has made a conscious decision to stick to what he knows - rightly or wrongly, he probably could have continued in a different way for this season, but he obviously feels that long term, that would make it even more difficult to implement what he wants to do after the summer, The board are aware of that and must have given him the backing to say, ok, we will let you do that and stick with you.

But no doubt there will be need to be some real tangible difference at the start of next season. I thought after a few months into Amorim's reign, it would be a mixture of decent progress with occasional setbacks, but it's been a lot worse than that. Various reasons for that, some out of Amorim's control, but ultimately he's the guy in charge.

It says it all that the OP would be content with a 2-2 draw at home with Wolves. I have to say that anything less than a win, no matter what is going on, isn't good enough but I think Amorim knows that also

I have not looked forward to any of our games since the new year.

I have seen nothing from Ruben that makes me think he can turn it around.

Nothing.

Think a draw would be a good result for United against the current “form team” in the league, with four wins and draw in our last five matches.
