Beilsa a true legend to the game of football.

His style, the man, ultra professional, a football romantic.. a true credit to the game.

will go under appreciated by most of the football world.

we're a very lucky set of fans really !

my personal favourite memory of Beilsa at the helm of Leeds United was his post match interview after beating Peps Man City,

Leeds had a player sent off early doors and even at 1-0 up, everyone would have expected City to come back and win.. the way he masterminded that game was incredible.. and the players too, lets not forget them.

in his post match interview he was calm and dignified, but extremely pleased, he stated we deserved to win the game.. but using humour, pointed out that the stats may not reflect that.

and that's the feeling that he gave a lot of us... you could honestly be forgiven to think anything at all was possible..

Not being a fan of the club in its glory days my highlights were the -15 points year and how bad most of our managers were. Not really highlights were they.
But once Bielsa took over i was stunned how beautiful football could be and he filled me with a sense of pride ive only felt supporting my local hockey team which were only the greatest hockey club in the world.
miss the great man immensely and i dont think fans of other clubs can imagine how great he actually was.
One thing from the article that's not accurate is he didn't win silverware.

Make no mistake… everything Leeds have achieved recently including this seasons promotion can be traced back to the influence that the great man had at the club.

He is the one who reignited our belief that we deserved to be in the PL. He is the one who redefined the standards that we expect our team to aim for. He is the one who began this journey and hopefully shaped our future success at the top level.

A great man who will forever be revered by those lucky enough to have witnessed his tenure at club.
