Best team at not reaching the final, isn’t it about goals
https://www.uefa.com/uefachampionsleague/statistics/clubs/attempts/?sortby=goals
To be fair PSG have been insanely wasteful for most of this campaign although Arsenal were the better side in the semi-final.

He could have just said how proud he was that his team put up such a good fight, which they did, and everyone would have agreed. But they certainly haven’t been the best team in the CL by any stretch, and on top of the other stuff he’s come out with, has just left himself, and by extension the team, open to all this mockery.
Not the best but I think we fully deserved our place in the semis and while PSG edged it, it wasn't like it was out of the realms of possibility that we could have gone through on the basis of the games and the chances.
When you take club bias into account it's a bit much but I wouldn't really blink twice if Flick had said it.
That said, i think Barca going after the refs is more embarrassing personally
PSG didn't edge it though. They won with a goal to spare
Essentially context does matter though when you're trying to figure out solutions on how to move forward and I think in that context it was edged, despite having that goal to spare.
Flick is smarter than that though...
He congratulated his opponent and kept it moving

I may have fallen into a clickbait trap but I have seen a lot of Barca blaming refs, including Flick. Admittedly i haven't gone looking for full interviews

Arsenal were the easiest out of the three English teams for PSG. Beat Villa by a goal, winning one game and losing the other, drew with Liverpool, winning one game and losing the other and then won on penalties. Then beating Arsenal both home and away.

Don't forget City
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeah I was talking about the knockout stages. PSG didn’t look great at all, until they reached the knockout stages and in fact at one point looked like they wouldn’t qualify.
"I don't want to speak a lot about the referee, but I think every 50/50 decision was for them [Inter Milan]. We give everything and, in the end, it's like that. This is what makes me a little bit sad."
That's all he said
Pep, after PSG had beaten an injury ravaged City:-
“Am I angry? No. They were better. The players suffer and they were better.
“They had better intensity to win duels. We found our moment to score two goals and go 0-2. When they have the ball they drop us but when we have the ball we create problems for them.
“At 0-2 and 1-2 we could not play. To defend, you have to have the ball. They were better. They had an extra man in the middle with a false nine and that’s why it was difficult.
“They were better, and we have to accept it.

Fair enough. I personally thought that first leg against you was one of the most one sided games I've seen in CL KO stages but I guess that doesn't diminish what Allison did that game or how close you took them in the end.

Yes we were awful in that first leg but won the game. We were the better team in the second leg but lost it. Overall I think they deserved to go through on penalties. Liverpool seemed exhausted and I thought the lack of rotation throughout the season had finally caught up with them, midfield especially.
It's crazy to think how obsessed Liverpool fans actually are with Arsenal, I don't think anybody is obsessed with us as much as them even Spurs fans aint this obsessed
Yeah that's fair. I feel like overall our games were a bit more balanced but in the moments they were on top they suffocated us more, had more quality, more energy and deserved to go through so not hugely dissimilar I guess
