Forget winning a trophy, just hope we dont win all 3. Victory!

Abject performance from us TBH. The stats show we’ve had a great domestic season, BUT beneath that we’ve got into a really bad habit of thinking we can turn up for 20-30 mins in games and get the job done. Normally we can, but it’s still a dangerous attitude, and one which bit us on the erse big time today. Lost the will to live watching us playing safe, square passes between the CBs and CalMac. Possession is fine, but there needs to be a point to it. Oh, and when we eventually get in and around the box, could somebody take a fecking shot occasionally?
Anyways, as I’ve said already, good luck to the Dons for having enough about them to take advantage … albeit enabled by MOTM Don Robertson, who went above and beyond from the get go to keep them in it.

Flip that on its head.... imagine taking solace that your greatest rivals have only won 2 trophies instead of 3.... including the most important trophy while your own team have had a season to forget and won the square root of fvck all and are still scrabbling round trying to find a manager for next season
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I have accepted a long time ago that our season has been an utter disaster.
It looks like the change is coming that Rangers desperately need so that’s my main concern. Will be delighted by that if/when it does go through.
Doesn’t stop me having a wee smirk that Celtic blew a treble against a team they horsed about a week ago.
I congratulated Celtic on their double . Well done 👏
And well done Aberdeen on stopping Celtic from winning a treble that everyone, myself included, thought was a gimme. 👍

I must admit there was a moment in the first half where CCV passed the ball across to Scales think about 15 minutes and Scales didn't even know it was coming coz he was just gazing up the park. I think we need improvement on left side of defence. And a striker don't think Kenny or Idah are good enough. Should have played Maeda in the middle after Idah went off. That was actually a schitshow the more I remember it.FFS

Celtic haven't done much wrong in recent years, on the park or off the park.
However, I personally think the money you have spunked on both Engels and Idah has been proper wasted
Both played today, and done the square root of fck all....not for the first time

I don't want to go too full on either, but can help but mention that seeing McGregor in bits was very, very, very satisfying.
After the amount of trophies you lot have hoovered up over the last decade or so and $hitshow we've been during that period....it really was fcking delightful to see him sobbing his wee eyes oot...as much as I'm no a fan of Aberdeen either, that was well worth it

He bears the full.weight of millions of fans expectations on his shoulders. He missed the first pen - absolutely emotionally devastating for a club captain, especially as it meant the cup was lost.
We can't tell him not to feel too bad about it considering his record, but that doesn't change things for him. The poor guy will be cut up about it for a while. That's the stage we're at with Celtic's expectations. We're spoiled with success, and dare I say, many of us take it for granted.

Rodgers got about 40 million worth of player this year, dropped one and subbed two after 60 mins.
Idah isnt good enough
Engels is a work in progress but has potential
Hard to believe we score as many as we do with so much sideway passing

Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers: "It wasn't complacency, no. We had a real desire and hunger to win the game. It just happens, we were very safe in our midfield. Not penetrating enough with and without the ball in those areas.“
Sorry Brendan, but you’re paid a fecking fortune to notice that, and do something about it, DURING the game. This pattern has happened in far too many games, and it was blindingly obvious again very early on today.
Also, as I said at the time, subbing off Engels (instead of Bernardo) was lunacy. ET was always possible, and Bernardo’s hardly played, so was never going to last 120 mins or more … and so it transpired, and of course we’d no other midfielder on the bench. Basic stuff really. Bernardo had also been honking, and his lazy, suicide pass to Aberdeen in our defensive third ultimately led to their equaliser and cost us the game.

So we’ve not won yet another treble because on the actual day we didn’t do enough. It happens and we’re not entitled to it.

Shambles...
Edinburgh Marathon runners who were making their way to the capital to take part have been left frustrated after being refused entry to ScotRail trains.
Early morning services between Glasgow and Edinburgh were so full that some looking to get on at stations along the way were told they were not allowed on board.
One runner, who was already on the train, revealed that the train conductor was urging people already on board to ‘protect their space’ and not allow anyone to try and force their way on at stops along the way.
Polmont and Linlithgow stations were both included with the 7.56am from Glasgow to Edinburgh the main service affected.
The marathon is due to start at 10am and not being able to get on the train means many would be unable to get to the start line for the race after months of training and raising money for charity.

Yeah thousands of people trying to get to the same location for the same time always causes transport issues. Especially on a Sunday. To be able to mitigate this, need to out think the general public. Book a bus in advance or get to the start of the train route and get on there.
It is also shiiite that it ends in Musselburgh then everyone has to walk up the hill to the station to get back into Edinburgh. But the trains are too packed for everyone to get on. Again a solution is to go to the opposite platform and jump on a train in the wrong direction for one stop. Then get off and get on the Edinburgh bound train before everyone else to avoid queuing at Musselburgh to get on.
Less crucial on the way back but getting there on time is a pain.
Not enough drivers working Sunday for additional train services.
