Pay the money. Don’t let he be the next Mane.

And I know we don’t have Europe to offer, but I really hope we aren’t just throwing ridiculous wages around. Hopefully they’re considerably less than the likes of Sancho, Rashford etc that we will be moving on. Casemiro too although I’d be happy for him to have 1 more year tbf.

Have the Semenyo rumours gone quiet? He looked a good player every time I saw him last season.

We’ve got so much facking shiiit to get rid of man, I forgot about the likes of Malacia too

Malacia
Antony
Rashford
Sancho

Get at least £40m for that lot.

Do you not think it's fair to say he's probably at the level Mane was when he was at Southampton?
----------------------------------------------------------------------

1. I was reporting the geeky podcasters' views, not mine.
2. To be honest, I haven't watched Brentford enough to have a strong view on him, and I didn't watch a ton of Mane at Southampton. But even if they're the same level, the crucial issue is trajectory. Is Mbeumo about to go to the next level as Mane did? Or was this the best season of his career? Personally, I'm not equipped to begin to answer that.

Mate I have no idea either, I was hoping you could tell me. We'll have to wait and see.

Need to sign Mateta next.

Would be Mbeumo or Semenyo as options for that right sided attacker, not even certain any solid links other than Twitter rumours to Semenyo, but he’s an exciting player for sure.

Apparently, Mbeumo has played rwb many times for brentford.

posted 2 weeks, 3 days ago

Lindelof is going/gone
Evans gone
Eriksen gone

Rashford looking for a club
Sancho waiting to see if he can agree with Chelsea

Garnacho likely to go

Antony going, need to find a team that can buy him not just loan him

Inter apparently looking at Hoijlund for some reason

That’s all without considering the potential for £100m+ if Bruno does go, which if all of the above left, I’d think Bruno stays.

Some serious wages off the books for sure.

Nice. Maybe we should sign Gareth Bale at left back as well!

Gareth Bale is retired bro.

Just making a point that he plays multiple positions and could swap positions with Amad or be rotated if and when it makes sense.

Decent player. £50m is overpaying a bit, but he would be a good signing. Stats this season padded a bit by penalties, plus he overperformed his xg considerably this season for the first time ever, which is always a bit concerning as it could be an outlier season where things just went his way a lot.

I’d prefer Eze personally who I think would be attainable for a similar fee, and is a better player, but I think Mbeumo would still be a good signing.

I think Eze is a better player than Mbuemo with more potential also, but if we get a deal done quickly, then I would still be happy with Mbuemo

Bruno is definitely leaving. Feels like we are spending the money first so clubs don't raise the asking price. It also softens the blow for us fans losing our best player.

However at soon to be 31 I just don't think we can refuse that kind of offer for him. Neither can he from a personal level either. 700k a week tax free? You'd have to be mental to turn that down.

As long as we get top dollar for him and spend the money wisely.....he can go with my blessing. Will always appreciate what he's done for us. Bruno been especially unlucky to join in our most unstable era for 40 years.

posted 2 weeks, 3 days ago

I don’t really get the figure of £100m though for Bruno, if they really want him and he is THE player to transform their league and be the big name this year, then why only £100m? They have pretty much unlimited cash, and players not even half as good as he has been are moving for £50/60m these days.

Rinse them for a lot more than £100m.

Eze wouldn’t be a good alternative to Mbuemo given they play in different areas of the pitch. Eze does all his best work in the same areas as Cunha.

Legitimately have to question his attitude if United is his first choice

Why exactly? With the other clubs mentioned, United have more potential to reach the top again within 5 years than Spurs or Newcastle that’s for sure.

posted 2 weeks, 3 days ago

Legitimately have to question Spurs as a club if even with CL football and the most expensive stadium and fans match ticket prices their top guys can’t convince players at Brentford to join them.

Another brain-dead comment by yet another butt hurt rival fan.

We get it......things haven't gone great for us of late. If your club ever had the greatest manager of all time and had to replace him.....you'd know how hard it is too. Luckily for you.....you could pick a manager out of the crowd and they wouldn't do much worse than anyone you've hired.

What are we supposed to do? Just fold the club? 😂

Big clubs go through these periods in England. Happened to Liverpool, Arsenal and now it's happening to us. However as you might have noticed..... Liverpool and Arsenal improved. So will we eventually.

As someone who likes to check the injury history of players we are looking at buying. Mbuemo is not a crock, so he is not allowed to join - I'll be in contact with INEOS over the next week to stop this transfer from happening.

Cunha on the other hand, massive crock, bring him in immediately.
