That 3 times now? Arsenal, us then Arsenal again? Curious to see how he'd do in the prem and maybe see what all the hypes about but he seems like he has no idea what he wants.

Has anything new happened? I saw one source from Marca claiming he wanted to go to Madrid, but turns out he's an awful source and since then most reputable people have double down on it being done with Arsenal

Why not come out and say I have given my word to a team and will honour that agreement.
Just have the feeling that if Madrid calls, he will jump ship.

I think we have legal stuff in place that means he can't jump ship and he's just giving basic PR answers before it's announced but we shall see

Given how long it's been going on for it would be very surprising and poor from us if we didn't have anything in writing to ring fence it. The fact that we haven't really been linked to any other CM's would suggest to me that the deal is done and that Partey is probably staying as well.

It's understandable though. Zubi has backed out of deals for both Liverpool and Bayern. Plus we've been told to be patient before by fans that are married to the idea of backing the club's every move, and we've always fallen short, which has them been mirrored by the team's results that season.
