Even for as little as £9m.....Ndidi feels like a trap. His stock has fallen massively over the last 3-4 years. Not the calibre of player we should be looking at for me.

If we can shift Sancho for £20m+ his wages gone then that's a bonus.

As for Rashford.....a loan to Barca would massively appeal to him I'm sure. Not sure it helps the club much though. Just kicking the can down the road as Barca won't sign him permanently. Next summer we are back in same position and he probably ends up there on loan again or stuck in limbo.

United don't hold the power though. We are skint and the players and their agents can exploit it.

barca loaning Rashford makes little sense IMO. Lamal, Raphina, Lewandowski, the impending Nico Williams. A lot of money to waste on a bench player even Ferran Torres has now prob surpassed the levels of Rashford.

Are they going to pay his 280k a week wages also? Barca are struggling massively financially and have sold off part of their future to avoid going bankrupt.

We should be getting a sizeable loan fee too. We aren't a charity after all.

fair enough, didnt know that but I looked at it... and Deco said that they like Rashford however will focus on their own players first and since then Lamal and Raphina signed new deals .. whether that was putting money in the bank with Rashford as insurance if they didnt sign or if they want him in additino to them ... time will tell.

I would think they want Ansu Fati off the wage bill before targetting Rashford also ... Fati is on nearly 300k a week !

Rashford won't be an automatic starter for them but I think he'd still get plenty of mins.

He's better than Ferran Torres and he got plenty of mins there last season.

Wouldn't shock me if he does do well there either. Never thought Raphinha was all that in the PL and he's been terrific in La Liga. I do think the standard over there has massively dropped though from the Messi vs Ronaldo era. Case and point that we beat Bilbao 7-1 and we are pretty crap. They qualified for the CL in Spain too so doesn't say much for the overall strength of the league.

Tbf it’s Jamie Jackson, one of the worst journalists going. Wouldn’t at all be surprised if this is coming from Rashford’s team to Jackson.

Rashford would infuriate the Barca players with his inability to make the right pass at the right time.

Good option for depth, especially if playing for Barca is a dream come true and pushes him to his top levels

The latest noise around this is Barca would require United to pay a portion of his wages to go there.

Absolute non starter for me if true. I'd rather have him as a number 9/10 rotation option with us than pay him to play for another club, especially a big club like Barca. Villa managed to pay his wages after all so there's no excuse.

I think isolating him in the run up to January was such a stupid and naive move by Amorim tbh. It's given us no leverage whatsoever in trying to move him on.
