The information we have so far is that the car, which was a Lamborghini, was in a road traffic accident and left the road due to a tyre blowout while overtaking.
"It was in the early hours, 00:30 BST, in the municipality of Cernadilla in the province of Zamora.
"The car caught on fire and the two occupants were killed."

Frightening stuff. My cousin was travelling over to the coast a few weeks back with his 3 young children and he had a tyre blow out. It sent him right across the motorway into the central reservation barrier and flipped the vehicle. Fortunately the only injury was a small cut on one of the kids arms, presumably from some glass. The kids have taken it in their stride, but he was properly shook up.

Just shows that you can be driving along safely and something out of your control can put you and your loved ones at risk.

Absolutely terrible news. RIP to him and his brother, and obviously I can't even imagine how that must be for their family and anyone else close to them.

Condolences to the Liverpool fans losing one of yours.

I notice that the report suggests that they were overtaking another car when it happened. It may have happened anyway, it may be linked to the manoeurve. No doubt we will hear more on that following further investigations.
