Fabrizio Romano and David Ornstein have reported they are and are currently preparing an opening bid.

That is why Newcastle are hoping to sign Ekitike as the replacement.

This is some stuff by Liverpool.

Hats off to Hughes.

This reminds of the time we signed Aldridge, Beardsley, Barnes and Houghton all in the same window. All when we thought it was the end because Rushie went.

It's very similar, Trent going but we have made awesome signings, we went on something like a 29 match unbeaten start to the season as well.

Could we see the same again ?

Newcastle will not have 2 no 9s in a 433. Nor will they have an 80M backup

These are galactico signings.

They're definitely using the Coutinho money wisely, plus the 10M for Trent.

Why not? They’re in the champions league as well don’t forgot and can’t just rely on Isak as their main/only striker

Newcastle cannot spend that much money without selling. PSR rules. The maths is in the favour of Liverpool

120M bid incoming. Ekitike to Newcastle.

Rodrygos agents in talks, possibly Konate going the other way.

Luis Diaz to Bayern.

Guehi after.

Of those done deals, only Kerkez is Prem proven, and that was 1 season at a smaller club with little expectations.

Wirtz could be amazing. He could also be the next Antony, Havertz or Di Maria.

Havertz? Who outscored zirkzee & hojlund combined in the league despite being out for 4 months injured, good one R’tarded Deluded Dikhead 👏🏻

Is that the measure of a top quality player now, outscored Uniteds poor forwards?

Obviously not, but to put him in a bracket with Di Maria & Antony when he was on course (extrapolated) for circa 16/17 goals isn’t a chit player. Not golden boot numbers but people like you need to drop the binary judgement of players. I’m not even his biggest fan btw.

You keep doing you though RDD, the temu version of Winston.

If Wirtz turns out like Havertz I’ll be sorely disappointed so I’m with Little Steve here.

I don’t expect it at all though. As for Di Maria and Antony, United are abysmal at managing talent and we are much better at it.

I didn't say Haverrz was a 'chit player' or compare him to Antony or Di Maria (who was world class at 1 point)
