That backpass from mcgregor was a disgrace btw.
Does he know you are allowed to control a ball and turn on it
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yep, an absolute disgrace … as was much of his “contribution” tonight, when he constantly shat it in possession of the ball. Said for ages he offers zero defensively in that role, so now that he’s offering very little in ball retention either (bar shuffling it across the back line), what’s the actual point of him in that pivotal position?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Right now we have no real alternative. Him and CCV are nearing their end games and that was evident last season. In spite of that, they are missed enormously when not in the team
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Having no alternatives is kinda the main problem, which we’ve all been screaming about for long enough. I’ve been wanting an actual defensive mid for years, although that wasn’t the killer tonight by any means. Scales, Ralston, Yang and Forrest are also starting purely because we’ve nothing better … for our biggest money games of the season, the ones that happen the same time every year (if we have to qualify). Honestly couldn’t give a flying feck who we sign now before the window shuts. Too fecking late, as ever.

Reality is it’s a gimme we lose tomorrow night and anything we take out of Sunday is a bonus.
If our defence and general team defending wasn’t so awful I’d say we might have a chance of nicking it either way a moment of individual brilliance. Unfortunately I think reality is we will need about three of them

But you’ve just claimed it was “a completely intentional foul denying a certain goal” despite now saying you don’t know all the rules
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Don’t know what you mean.
I saw the hand ball was deliberate and the ball was going in?
I can’t recall seeing a keeper do that before right on the line. I hadn’t really thought about what the punishment would be if it was so obvious like that.
There are always changes to rules and how they are applied. I’m just saying I don’t go out my way to study them and keep up with them these days because there do seem to be quite a few changes each season. Not just the rules but the directions on how to apply them.
If they are significant they usually become apparent or talked about quite quickly.
I certainly won’t pretend I got 100% on ‘you are the ref’ in the paper even back in the day. I’m sure I’d be miles off it with some of the rarer situations these days.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It’s pretty clear what I mean should you choose to not be obtuse.
You made a “definite” claim of some rule breaking immediately before going on to say you don’t know all the rules and don’t mind admitting so.
It’s quite easy to follow
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Not really. It was more about the punishment.
Listen, whatever, you are real smart and caught me out. Have a point.

I get the fear every time we concede a free kick around the half way and we set our defensive line up 25-30 yards from goal
Anyone can breach that with a simple bit of timing.

Well yes, but that’s partly because some of them are well known to be pash. The rest just happened to play at the same level tonight. Whole team, and manager, absolutely underperformed, but that scenario would’ve been far less likely had Jota, Kuhn and/or Kyogo been replaced with reasonable quality.
Maeda will go clean through on goal at least twice if he plays through the middle. That would be my prediction now I’ve thought about it.
I know he’s missed a few but it wouldn’t surprise me if he finds his goal scoring form again this weekend.

Maeda has lost his place to a donkey. I'm sure that's got something to do with his lack of goals.
Anyways. I’m done with tonight.
Until Sunday
Funny Celtic fans thinking it'll be 0-0 because they can't score - totally underestimating our ability to score own goals.
Even more so than the Celtic performances, these pressers from Rodgers indicate that the domestic trophies should be ours for the taking this season. The Rodgers project is fizzling out, we're barely a month into the season and he's already bickering with his board through the press. We should be seizing on that instability. Instead, we're getting what we're getting - a Rangers team playing like we never got out of the lower leagues.

Well you would get bored, playing Brendanbaw. I get bored senseless watching it, so imagine it’s the same on the park. BR looks bored as well TBH, stood there with his arms folded. While our squad is clearly under resourced, especially in forward areas, I’m 100% certain that Ange would be getting more of a tune out of tonight’s lineup.
BTW, full credit to Kairat, and good luck to them in the CL. Think they’ll need it, to be fair. Had a clear game plan though, stuck to it, and absolutely worked their socks off. Never looked like scoring, but our chances were few and far between as well.
Rest of our season could get seriously toxic from here, all totally self-inflicted. I fully appreciate that our problems are all relative vs those of the Bears, but I’m only ever really interested in us being the best we can be (within the clear financial constraints of operating in Scotland). Our Board aren’t remotely interested in that. To them, being slightly better than Rangers, while spending the bare minimum, seems to be all that matters. Sorry, but it’s a soul-destroying way to run anything. It’s also a mentality that’s cost us big-time financially tonight … yet again. We’ve learnt nothing from previous qualy feck ups, going in under-prepared against eminently beatable opposition. Feck, we learnt nothing from our toothless SC final horror show. Complacency FC.
I’ve woken up still hating Celtic so I’ve decided to become a bear.
I fancy soldiers. I’m starting to get the middle-aged spread. And my sister is reasonably good looking, so I’m going to give it a go.

I didn't see the game last night as I had something on.
Did anyone play well ? The tie was effectively lost last week for me ....Rodgers not replacing Nygren quickly enough when he was having a shocker was worrying
I hate 60mins + managers . If a player hasn't done anything good in the first half then get him gone m
He did it with Idah but it was apparent we needed another change.
Europa league it is ...we will probably bring in a few players now we don't really need them
just seen Colby Donovan played as well as Dane Murray
Really like both players but that's a really tough environment to throw them into ..Could hinder development doing that
Can we please cut our losses and accept 3.2 M for Idah ...if anyone is daft enough to bid it

Welcome aboard We have a certain way of converting one pervert at a time. Now for th einitiation ceremony
Mindset at the moment is "I don't give a fvck about the Europa League ". No interest in watching games .That might change after 5 or 6 rounds if our league position and teams still to play are any way interesting.
Idah will hopefully get frozen out cutting about with the stiffs. Can't see us getting shot of him in the few days left of the window.
nobody played well, the young lads that came on get pass marks and thats about it.
need a new manager, he is boring, his football is boring.
question - if ange had this squad, would it look this bad?
There was someone on here impersonating you last night.

We had the chances in both games to win the tie and didn't take them. Better chances by far than any of theirs. It's a simple story.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Precisely this. The players who participated tonight didn’t do their job properly.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Well yes, but that’s partly because some of them are well known to be pash. The rest just happened to play at the same level tonight. Whole team, and manager, absolutely underperformed, but that scenario would’ve been far less likely had Jota, Kuhn and/or Kyogo been replaced with reasonable quality.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Equally we know players like Maeda and others are way more capable than they showed tonight. It’s like they’ve got bored

Maeda will go clean through on goal at least twice if he plays through the middle. That would be my prediction now I’ve thought about it.

He’ll miss them again. That blaze over the bar tonight was truly fwcking awful. Make the keeper at least save it ffs.
Awful
And as for Idah

Grr. Rarr. Denial of the Assumption etc.
