Also when Ruben facks off, who replaces him? The managerial market is so dead right now, so we’re gonna have to spend money to buy one out of their contract with a club. INEOS are an absolute cancer, how does a club so big get saddled with two cancerous owners?

It does sound like that.
There are two major problems that we have with this system I think. Firstly, we don't have absolute top class wing backs, which is a must. Secondly, we don't have a quality CM/CDM with the legs to get about the pitch. Obviously our keeper is terrible too.
We have spent £73m on another young striker, who has looked just as lost as Hojlund so far, when there were other more pressing areas that needed addressing and which would have had a bigger impact on our overall game.
The window is still open and it may be that we strengthen before it closes. If we don't then I can't see how his system can work/begin to work before he gets the sack.
Winner, winner, chicken dinner

Culer will probably know what's going on - where is he?
"I think the team and the players spoke really loud today, so that's it. [Tonight] I think the best team won, the only team that was on the pitch.
"I think it's really clear what they spoke, so let's move on from this day. I think it was clear for everybody what happened today."
This is the key part, to me.

I had a winner winner chicken dinner last night. Stuck £30 on us to qualify when we were 2-0 down. Cashed out for £142.50 after Grimsby had missed their penalty.
So it wasn't all doom and gloom.

Agree with all that Elvis.
Fact is you do t have a single midfielder (I’d say only Collyer has the legs and he’s been loaned out I think) that can play a midfield two.
It really is that simple. You’ll just never get the best out of Ugarte, Mainoo, Bruno and Casimero in a two, so don’t play them in a two in the most athletic league in the entire world.
Ultimately, he’s the architect of his own downfall on that front.
Not much he can do about the keeper situation tbf, but he has the worst record of any manager with a non promoted side, which is insane.
Lose to Burnley (good test to see if the players actually are behind him, you really should see a reaction from them if so) and he’ll do well to make the international break.

At this point I really feel that we would benefit from getting rid of Bruno and spending the money on Baleba - assuming that the SA club is still indeed interested in signing him.
But that would be a big move for the club to make when the manager could be gone soon anyway.
