Okay, well Indont feel immigration is the cause of any of our problems. I think that’s nonsense, but that’s more opinion based.

What is a FACT, is that immigration is not the reason there is a waiting list.

I'm just guessing that it's someone who a long time ago used to write very witty and creative articles that most people found very amusing, which would in some cases set records for 5* votes, and which gave him various devout followers who would look forward to his next creation, and greet his contributions with rapture, but who today chips in to articles with very repetitive over the top 'in character' takes which derail discussions with smothering attention seeking, seem to themselves be some degree of morally/ethically unsound/offensive, and which tend to engender a reaction such as, 'oh. it's Barry again everyone '. Could be wrong though.

No offence, but you have to be absolutely, and monumentally retaarded to not understand the meaning behind flags that are being raised at a very specific time in relation to the (literally called) "Raise the Flag" campaign which has an anti immigration message. It's literally in the name of the campaign.

But no, these flags just coincidentally went up at this exact time.

You are asking: "What about raising the flags right now means that it's in any way related to the raise the flags campaign that has taken off right now?"

FFS people that aren't cants and have flags for not so cantish reasons are even having to take theirs down so they don't look like the cants.

Well, I’ve contributed to the debate.

If you want to make it personal about me then be my guest.

I haven’t claimed to know the motivations of every single person. But we can say with some certainty that these flags are about asylum hotels and not some random act of patriotism.

Anyone claiming that to be the case is being disingenuous at best.

Or are you asking "what about the raise the flag campaign, started by EDL founder Tommy Robertson, in response to immigrants being housed in hotels, the perceived violence of mulsim immigrants and their threat to are women and kids, have to do with being anti immigrants?"

I think Devon must feel some degree of frustration at least, that he is seen to be siding with a bunch of absolute morons, when he just has a mildly right leaning viewpoint.

It is often useful though, to look around you and see what kind of people are on each side of a debate.

If I was having a debate about something and all of the intelligent and well respected members of the site were on one side of it, and I was over there with RDD, Nolhman, Peks, Pranks and some variations of Strettys, I may pause and question why that is. But I understand that others may not have that ability
