Sounds like the club trying to be more communicative.... Defo an improvement Vs Levy era. Not sure its anything to get too excited about.... 100mln quid not a massive amount in the big scheme of things. I suspect the timing isn't an accident, a day after Brooklyn Earick pulls his 4.5 Bln quid offer.
It screams that the Lewis family is trying to show its commitment.... Bit of a non story

Good news we can only hope. Seems like the board are starting to wake up and echo the ambitions of the fans. Time will tell if this is true.

I think that Levy got us so far, they gave him a fair crack of the whip to capitalise on the amazing financial position he put us in and he failed.
BUT, he largely failed to elevate us to success when operating within our substantial means. This is going beyond our means. Perhaps they didn't trust him to spend it well enough, or to put another way, may be he'd be too careful in spending it. Prudent spending has only got us so far, show me the marquee

I would like to think he was got rid of for reasons surrounding the ambitions of the club and making progress on that side, which is a perfectly valid and justified reason and can only reflect that these Lewis siblings want to take us into a more successful direction.
£100m is one top player these days
I'd take Semenyo in January, Sell Richi, make do with Dom & Muani and spend the rest on either a full back or a CB.
Come the summer, new Forward and CM/DM. Bosh!! looking amazing

Semenyo in January feels like a pipedream given his and Bournemouth's form. They were quite protective around the manager last summer and it's only going to be the same with a star player in the midst of a season in which they are performing so well.

Not saying he would come to us but Pool have Gakpo and Ekitike on the left, Arsenal have Martinelli, Trossard and Saha, City have Doku (if they get him, then Savinho can come to us). Chelsea would want him. We have a gaping hole ready for him to fill playing next to a striker he knows well.

Am I the only one who doesn't feel we need a new CB? VDV and Kuti are excellent, Danso is a very decent 3rd choice, Takai we don't know but must be ok for 4th choice, Dragu back soon and Vuskovik doing very well at Hamburg. I would throw literally all our money at left forward.

Striker while our £100m iron is hot !
Jan is probably the only chance we'd have pretty much a free run at him. Offer Odobert in return on loan or for a fee.
I would guess that the money has been invested now, not next summer, to give us a competitive advantage in January when most clubs arent so flush.

He signed a new deal. May be that was mutually beneficial to get him a pay rise and the club a decent release clause.
While Bournemouth will of course not want to sell, they are at that level where they pretty much has to. The sold 2 key defenders this summer.
What's in their favour is that they can wait and then if he has a great season then there will be a big scramble over him from across Europe.
Feel like we could match any of them but may be not have the same lure as some. January or nothing IMO.
