Don't know why people are insulting batmanu, he's just stated facts. He probably remembers most of it just like myself and many others.

It's a simple matter of people being bitter over it. Everybody cheer Batmanu.

What I dont understand is how Ronaldo was crucified for merely going down too easily (even though he was the most fouled player in the Prem). MOTD would always highlight his petulance, his 'diving' antics yet for Suarez, they never do

Suarez is more than just a con, a diver, he's jsut a nasty human being who goes onto the pitch with the intention of getting a man sent off

that should be an easy one to understand, benzeguero. ronaldo was crucified simply because he played for manchester united. if you want an example of the hypocrisy that surrounds people's opinions where we are involved, just ask yourself what the reaction would have been had a united player been accused of making a racist comment. the fa would have already handed them a lifetime ban without even viewing the video footage and the press would have assembled a lynch mob to have them publicly horsewhipped.

So let Me get this right a G00N writing an article about a Liverpool player and posting it on the United board.
Why hasn't the G00N posted this on the Liverpool board

Sorry Bubbles had to delete that. Don't want you getting banned do we!

Fallowfield and his manc paranoia
You just don't see the preferential treatment your club has had over the years do you
No point arguing with the reddest tinted of them all!

Just because someone is an adult doesn't mean they can't change. If they couldn't, no society would ever evolve and we'd still all be racist.
I'm not defending Suarez or Evra at all, just what you said is not right. I would say they are likely to change because they are that young.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

Ordiinarily I would say you had a point. However, assuming these alegations are correct, we must remember this is footballers we're talking about here.

Now I don't want to upset anyone, but footballers as a group aren't renowned for their education or their intelligence off the pitch. Many in fact, are thick as planks and barely display the education of a 5 year old.

In order to change in the way you speak of, one must be able to appreciate another's point of view - to empathise. This is not something the sports psychology all these players have had from a very early age teaches. Indeed, often it teaches the opposite.

The best way to empathise with someone or appreciate a point of view is to live in the real world. 'Walk a mile' as the saying goes.

Footballers are often almost completely removed from the real world, have sports psychologists telling them they're never wrong, and the ones like Suarez have enough money to have someone else do everything for them.

Plus I'm a cynical old git and I've seen the 'right words' of regret mouthed too many times by too many people, only to have them proved meaningless by further transgretions.

What a fantastic, fully researched article. The journalists in this country need to lfollow your example.

Great job, 5 stars.

People called Ronaldo a cheat and wanted him out of this country and he didn't do anything near what this tool has done.

The scousers will now slate you and defend another of their players for disgraceful behaviour. A truly oathetic individual and a disgusting human being.

Regarding the racism thing, we'll see. I won't be surprised if it's true. I hope the FA take the bull by the horns and hand out an appropriate ban and fine.

Agreed. This should be on the Liverpool board.

I love it how they all hate Suarez

Just because he plays for Liverpool.

I'm sure that this article has been useful to the OP. With all the effort that's been put in it's made him forget about his own shambles of a football club, who are dying a slow death at the moment.

This site is a bit of a joke. Comments get deleted for little no reason. People get banned from posting because idiots silence them by hitting the complain button over and over, and for some reason the admins mindlessly oblige.

Admins, if you're watching... if you really want a decent website dedicated to fair and honest debate, then get rid of the dross.

It's a fair article, pointing out the flaws in a football player, what's the problem? Truth hurt?

posted on 16/10/11

To those of you wondering why I didn't post it on the Pool board it is because I am banned from there. It probably would have come across as a WUM article anyway which it genuinely isn't.

I actually liked Suarez and overlooked what he did at the world cup but his antics since (especially this season) have built him up as a despicable character who I now despise.

Guys like Ronaldo, Drogba, Eboué, etc have shown petulance and dive (or did dive) in the past but I think what Suarez is doing is taking it to a whole new level.

The only this the article is reducing the number of Liverpool fans on the website.
When bitter fans such as batmanu post nothing but bitterness.

Arsenal played today but rather than discussing Arsenal he pops up with anti Liverpool garbage. He literally HATES Liverpool more than he supports Arsenal.

posted on 16/10/11

The truthbis it's another article written with an angle. It's posted on the board which will cause most argument. I will doubt very much if the OP would write this article about Suarez if he played for Arsenal. So forgive me if I choose to disregard his writings.
