Never seen a spur fan where I lived so just imagine
But they claim they are a big club without abroad fan base
I will ßë surprised to find a Spurs fan outside of UK.
Premier league's most supported Clubs abroad are; Chelsea, Mutd, Arsenal, and Liverpool.
Even Man City's fan base abroad is not yet strong...not until they probably win a trophy or two, but spending money won't give them that fan base yet.

kkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk
Interesting this.
My in-laws live near Alicante close to the affiliated THFC Spanish Supporters Trust, on any given matchday well over 150 Spurs fans gather in the local watering hole to cheer the boys on.
I've been there about 11/12 times and it's mayhem.
Not once in the whole region have I even seen a Chelsea fan (or at least one that wears a club shirt), plenty of Liverpool, plenty of Spurs, but no Chelsea?
It appears they long for tradition and history over there, that may be why
@ShelfSideSpur
But are these Spanish people or ex pats?
Shelfside,
Be honest though, how many of those are ex-pats? I think you will find many Spurs fans in Spain, Australia, New Zealand etc, as you will for any English club in proportion to their home fan base.
I can't see however why the OP would bring this up, ask any person outside the UK with no family links to England to name a UK team and we all know the top two will be Liverpool and Man U, I doubt very much doubt Chelsea would even get third place and if they did it would be a very distant third.
Purely because i think it is more to do with Sky and selling of the ECL, which tbh is not Spur's fault. What someone does say above pretty much does hold true - only the Sky 4 have a large prescence outside of the UK, and away from small populations of English ex pats.
@ T K o T - You would be surprised mate, in South America Chelsea would be 1st or 2nd along with United........along with the number of shirts and sales. This though seems to be very much due to TV coverage as most years I pretty much watched every Chelsea game for the 07,08,09,10 on proper TV
TKOT & Simon,
I don't really see what that has got to do with the price of rice.
The (o(k that created this excellently written & informative article stipulated that Spurs are 'unknown' outside of the UK.
Yes, the area may be Ex-pat heavy, but the Spanish nationals in that area frequent the aforementioned establishment as well, so the presence of THFC in the region is very well known.
Much more known than the Op's beloved club, who until 2003 were relatively unknown in this country, let alone abroad
Shelf.
I'm not knocking Spurs on this, as I said I don't believe any English team is well known abroad outside of the Pool and Man U, in Europe many people might name Nots Forest, so fame abroad is no indication of current potential at home.

This - like i said when i was in Brazil in was more to do with the TV. And yes before "the Russian" Chelsea were unknown, but at the same time as Roman came along was the boom of channels showing foreign football. So as with United and Sky - they peaked at the right time, Chelsea started to peak as the EPL became a world wide brand
Plenty of Spurs fans all over the world and here in Spain too...in fact just this morning I was told about Spurs' new impending collaboration with a local Spanish team...
lol the idiot OP.
i bet a few teams heard of us when we were beating Europe's big boys last season in the champs.
