I do like him, but feel as he will only find a place in our team if we decide to go with two strikers upfront.
He isn't the type of striker you will bring off from the bench to change games, I guess that's why he's rarely featured.
I think he would be v.good as a second striker in a formation with two strikers.
I like chamakh, I think he's decent back up, and as proven last year, with a run of games can be a decent first choice.
He's never going to dazzle like a Rooney or Van Persie, but will get us goals. Quite frankly I found the way some fans got on his back as soon as Van Persie returned a little out of order. We seem to have a tendancy as fans of this club to get on a player's back far, far too easily.
Great start last season, Got dropped and lost his form.
Definatly a player that needs games to make a big impact.
Start playing him Wenger
get rid and bring in lambert from saints as back up. Look at the success u have had so far replacing your back up rb (eboue) with jenkinson. This is phase 2 of the 'arsene project' and now he is looking for lower league talent to get you back challenging for trophies.
He's the type of player who has to be playing reguarly if you're to have the slightest chance of getting the best out of him!
It's easy to forget that for the first 6 months of last season Arsenal were on form and Chamakh was scoring for fun. Dare I say it, many were saying (even opposition fans) that he was "the signing of the season".
Alas RVP came back into the frame and unfortunately for Chamakh his appearances were limited and his impact from the bench was at best lightweight...
He's a confidence player and I think someone like him needs to be playing reguarly to gain that said "confidence".
I'm sure he'll stay for this season at the very least, but IF a bid was to come in January that's decent , personally I might be inclined to sell him and give Park a chance and maybe invest in a younger, maybe more hungrier player to make an impact.
RVP will probably get injured soon so its time for Chamakh to step up once again.
Either him or Park. I want to see Park get a run of games before he has to go and fight for his country.

When Chamakh first signed he looked good, but then we've had one league goal (I think it is) since November - thats nearly a year and not good enough.
He needs to get it together if hes going to have any chance of regular football.
He lost his form because he was having women trouble - allegedly.
