I've seen that username before. The trend in Dundee is grey tracksuit trousers with long sleeve buttoned up polo shirt with just beiber hairr, if you are scúm.
Then if you are a pansy student, then it is spew or diarrhea coloured chinos or whatever they are, and a blue denim shirt or similar, buttoned up to the top so you can't breathe, with odd hair. Don't know which look to go for. There are only 2 to choose from.

I just don't get the checked shirt buttoned up to their chins and tucked in really high up with yellow/spew cropped trousers. Isn't that what we used to picture a stereotypical American geek to look like. Screech from Saved by the Bell would be the coolest these days.
