Hmmm,

Is that really how his name is spelt?

posted on 4/11/11

Why bother, if you can not even make an attempt to get his name right,

posted on 4/11/11

He really needs to bulk up a bit, but his shot stopping looks good already and with age his positing will get much better. The only worry is his reluctance to come for a cross, most keepers will tell you this can't be taught, it's instinct, but if he could get that right I'd say he will be world class in the next five years.

But yes, I do think he has the potential to become a United great.

You only have to look at his agility, and how well he has settled in.

This could not possibly be easy for one so young.

a man utd fan from Yorkshire how wonderful

Sorry i spelt it as red Nev speaks it, as it amuses me in a completely childish way every time he says it. Admin doesn't seem to share my sense of humour.

I now have an image of you sat cross legged with a green face and long pointy ears with grey hair growing out of them.

De Gea

At 20, he is unbelievably good

posted on 4/11/11

Think he has looked pretty solid in his last few games... considering he is so young and as a keeper will not reach his peak for many years (perhaps up to a decade) I think he could become one of the best keepers around, assuming he continues to improve...

posted on 4/11/11

lets hope he does, then goes to Man City to win things in the next ten years.

OP,

Admin is merely trying to establish your WUM credentials.

posted on 4/11/11

I'm not a WUM in the slightest, i actually use this site to post seriously, however Gary Neville says De Gea's name in a way which amuses me, so i now spell it in the same way.

In that case, I will look forward to your articles on players that have become a victim of mispronounciation from David Pleat.

Tuscany aren't you on the wrong board ?

The Championship board is down a little more, and for future reference the league 1 board is even further down.

Besides you wum is entirely unaccurate, with FFP coming City's belts are going to have to tighten right up...

Don't get me wrong they will still be more of a challenge than Leeds but long term I think Arsenal are the real threat to United.. City won't last long without their crazy wages and transfer fees...

In fairness I am sure Pogba is not a wum... though it is a slightly wummish title...

7 the best.. and I thought my wumming had gone unnoticed

as for City not being rivals, you need to wake up mate... 6 - 1 at Old trafford should of shook you awake my friend

also, Man City are building from the youth... it's all very well thought out... sure they are mad wages, and millions of punds being thrown around currently but once these players take Man City to the real heights of football, for a long period of time, they'll be slowly replaced by the youngsters...., also alot of Man Citys current squad are young... have at least 10 years left at the top...

Tuscany we don't get many Leeds fans round these parts recently... more wumming close rivals like Doncaster Rovers I assumed...

In the 6-1 we were a man down for an entire half (nearly) and three goals came in the last few minutes...

So if our defence had just held back for the last 5 mintues it would be a pretty normal loss considering they are a good team now and we were a man down.

Sure City have a lot of good young players but slowly but surely replacements will be needed in several places, these replacements will expect similar wages to their fellow players...

Even with their sponsorship deal they cannot afford huge transfer fees and huge wages so this is nearly the end of their big spending days. Sure they may have a good few years like Chelsea did, but at the end of the day United come out on top... and City can't even continue spending like Chelsea could...

So no worries as a United fan...

Leeds on other hand, division amongst the fans... losing 5-0 to Blackpool.. premiership seeming further away than ever...

Dark days indeed...

posted on 4/11/11

though we were a man down for MORE than a half, so by your reasoning this is fine si? - it's perfectly acceptable to lose by 5 goals if your a man down... so you say

Mancini whoa, mancini whoa, mancini whoa.....

posted on 4/11/11

I see, did half the goals also come in the last few minutes as you chased the game ?

Or were they more evenly spread out through the match like a proper domination ?

Ahh I see you are becoming a big fan of City... as I hear the glory hunters been deserting Leeds in droves recently. ER nowhere near the attendances it used to have is it ?

Ahh well City is just up the road... maybe even if only for a year or two you can be better than United again!

Abandoning your club is your only realistic shot at that these days...

posted on 4/11/11

Never abandon Leeds... that's the best thing about supporting a club that doesn't win every game 1 - 0 playing, with a 95th minute dodgy pen... it feels good when you do win, for you it's normal, hmmmm like the time we played in the FA Cup... and we're not famous, we're not famous, we're not famous anymore

I only like Man City because they get on your nerves.... take your glory, and stick two fingers up at the 'small' amount of Man Utd fans actually from manchester.... out of interest, are you from London.. I bet you are !! - and I can't wait to see city win the champions league just for the look on fungus's face...

being called a glory supporter from a Man Utd fan like it

vidic they are to be fair, my nephew 6 years old plays for them.. you should check out how they are building the club... they are buying instant success for now, but the foundations in which they are lying are superb

Tuscanyambition

Roman put all this in place at Chelsea as well.

It doesn't matter how good your youth system is, it all comes down to your manager giving them a chance to play, when the going gets tough.

Chelsea always opted to splash the cash, will city be any different?
