Opposed to invading a Country, overthrowing the government, killing innocent people, taking all the natural resources and then leaving when its no longer beneficial. Somalians are trying to survive were trying to rule.

Spot on there. I won't be going into depth, but Al-Shabaab were witnessed handing out food and water to starving families in camps they use to run.

On other hand, I also read reports stating something similar to what you've posted above. None of us are in Somali so we do not know what's going on there. Everything we read and hear are all reports, not always accurate.

You only get to learn the truth when journalists can move freely in these places and that's not going to happen anytime soon in Somalia.

Rageh Omaar will be reporting from Somalia as soon as the temporary government retrieve control of areas which Al-Shabaab are controlling at the moment.

As for foreign journalists, I doubt they'd be able to report from Somalia any time soon - it's just too dangerous to be honest.
