"wouldn't want Jack Wilshere on their books"
the same Jack Wilshere that's injured and couldn't really be included at present?
We have the best menu in the league.
World class players don't win you leagues.
Look at Real Madrid.
Playing beautiful football wins you leagues.
Look at Barcelona.
WAY too many words... this won't generate half as many comments as my football article
"the same Jack Wilshere that's injured and couldn't really be included at present?"
Yes. As far as I know injured players are still part of the squad aren't they? Except maybe Abou Diaby.
I raised this point a few days ago!!!

Vermanlen would have no problems getting in the Barca team, in fact I was actually quite scared that they were going for him.
The pundits don't even give us 4th place and the teams that they think would be ahead of us, pool and Spurs. I can't really name any world class players in those teams!
"Yes. As far as I know injured players are still part of the squad aren't they? Except maybe Abou Diaby."
Yes but if they're not playing how can you base your performances on them?
Well that killed the discussion off!
Let us save the discussion then!
Wilshere is injured, but we can base his performance on last season and extrapolate to this one......i think!
Either way, do you think United couldn't do with Wilshere in their midfield?
That running smiley farted a flan.

Try Modric, Bale and Suarez, very very good players
I'm by no means saying Whilshere isn't a quality little player. I definitely rate him.
All I'm saying is you could have Messi in your squad, but if he was on the injury table for most of the season, how would that help you beat 'Stoke away on a rainy night'
Is rain to Stoke what spinach is to Popeye?
'Stoke away on a rainy night'

Talking about cringeworthy clichés, that got to be up there with the worst.
"Yes but if they're not playing how can you base your performances on them?"
I'm not. I'm basing the pundit's unthinkingness on them.
Yes unthinkingness. It's a perfectly cromulent word.
I am surprised that you actually care what these 'pundits' have to say.
"I am surprised that you actually care what these 'pundits' have to say."
It's all research.
It would be interesting to hear Dave Pundit's opinion on this!
This article is truly ridiculous.
Arsenal don't have any World Class players.
