Does anybody know what is the punishment if he admits or is found to be guilty?

Not sure but he'd probably get a hefty fine. Don't see getting a long ban if found guilty.

Usually they give people 2/3 days to accept the charge or request a personal hearing.

In law they say you don't add or takeaway. It's clear they haven't given Suarez 2/3 days to accept which means your assumption isn't completely true.

You're applying a system normally used for charging those who insult the ref or make comments on TV/RADIO that breaks FA rules

I would expect any player found guilty of racially abusing a player to get a 5 match ban. The FA can not afford to be percieved to be soft on this issue considering their kick out racism campaign.

I would also suspect a serious suspened punishment would also be issued for a repeat offence.

Liverpool don't have any black players

Liverpool Institutionally racist?

Any idea what happens if both Suarez and Terry are found guilty.

I assume Terry faces the prospect of a more severe punishment if found guilty because it is a criminal case?

That would seem hardly fair........

Do we actual know what was said? Because Truth may be onto something, but without actually having an idea it is tough to say.

does anyone know why the terry case is a criminal one and suarez is not?

do we know what suarez said?

i fully believe that racist comments should be punished, however i believe in consistancy too.

i can see terry getting a tougher time than suarez on this one seeing as it was clear what terry said.

but my mian point is why is terry's case a criminal one and suarez not?

Terry is a criminal case because a member of public made a complaint - no one knows who this person is. It could be Anton or it could be Joe Bloggs at the stadium or even watching MotD (the stories i have heard is it was someone watching MotD but i cannot confirm this).

ok, but regardless if someone has made a complaint or not, if it has transpires that suarez is guilty of a criminal offence should he not be charged also?

I think there have been several complaints from the public all based on what they saw on Youtube.

For the investigation to have taken this long already and yet still no charges been made indicates to me that the video evidence and the witness statements are not strong enough or reliable enough for Terry to be found guilty.

In light of charges made against Suarez and the Blatter fiasco, I now believe it makes it more likely that Terry will also get charged, but at the end of the day I doubt he will be found guilty.

I don´t know how it works, but maybe if Suarez is found guilty by the FA the police then are also obliged to investigate?

Or maybe it needs Evra to complain to the Police?

I am just guessing mind.

it is strange that everyone speaks of MoTD and youtube vids...

it was clear enough on the live sky broadcast!
however it only picked up what terry said and not whatever Anton was suppose to have said.

As for Blatter, he is as out of touch with life and football as my grandma.... and she is no longer with us!
