Yeah people do seem to be inclined to believe whatever tosh is written in the press these days unless of course it happens to show their team/hero etc. in a negative light then it's all lies. I seem to remember the press trying to do a similar hatchet job on Suggs from Madness back in the day - no idea why?

Has to be said that Terry is his own worst enemy at times but I really do not believe that the guy is a racist - I encountered quite a few real racist p....s in my youth - I remember one particular clown bopping around to 'Israelites' by Desmond Dekker at the youth club disco seig-heiling at the same time - you couldn't make it up!
